Subject: What is the Best Model GW has Ever Released?
"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

For 40k, have to say the termy chaplain. That thing is40k.
I haven't followed WHFB too closely lately, but I really like the Chaos Lord on Juggernaut that was already mentioned. I also really like the new Wight King that is soon to be released for VC.

For me it's got to be the Vyper Jetbike. I thought it was a stunning model when it first came out and it's still my favourite to this day.
It's just such a nice, well designed model. Everything about the design works.
Automatically Appended Next Post: But the Dark Eldar Raider/Ravager kit comes in a very close second. And for all the same reasons as the Vyper Jetbike.

97 or 98 I think just about when I started getting involved with GW. The Brets are the one range I think went down hill with the new plastics........

I agree with this. I bought a metal one for a friend at my FLGS as a birthday present, and it was missing the shoulder spikes. Funny story though, as the other three metal ones AND the fineco$t ones still in the store were also missing them. So instead I used a leftover shoulder-spike from the terminator lord and it looks perfect.
for me, if we can include forge world, it HAS to be the keeper of secrets as to me that one model represents everything that is awesome about slaanesh ^_^

If FW isn't out of line I just placed an order for Leipold the Black. I am not big on fantasy minis, but that one in particular has caught my attention since its release.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.
If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.

I think it's December 1997. When GW released also Wood Elves Scouts (or Explorers, I don't know their name in English).

Alarielle Everqueen and her Maiden Guard. My queen is being used in a D&D game as a high level mage (This is not not my Alarielle) Or the Dark Elf Witch elves. One of mine is also being uesed in a D&D game as a high level pallidin. (Again not my mini)
