I just got one of the original Eldar Avatars the other week. It is crazy small, smaller than the Phoenix Lords in fact.

Despise his small demeanor he is a totally awesome miniature.

Abaddon is a hideous model. Don't like any particular model except the metal daemon prince.

These guys for me the Perry Brettonian range as a whole is definitely one of my favourites http://www.solegends.com/citcat1998/1998P013-02.htm and the pair of kneeling Squires in particular.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

For 40k, have to say the termy chaplain. That thing is 40k.

I haven't followed WHFB too closely lately, but I really like the Chaos Lord on Juggernaut that was already mentioned. I also really like the new Wight King that is soon to be released for VC.

For me it's got to be the Vyper Jetbike. I thought it was a stunning model when it first came out and it's still my favourite to this day.
It's just such a nice, well designed model. Everything about the design works.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
But the Dark Eldar Raider/Ravager kit comes in a very close second. And for all the same reasons as the Vyper Jetbike.

97 or 98 I think just about when I started getting involved with GW. The Brets are the one range I think went down hill with the new plastics........

I agree with this. I bought a metal one for a friend at my FLGS as a birthday present, and it was missing the shoulder spikes. Funny story though, as the other three metal ones AND the fineco$t ones still in the store were also missing them. So instead I used a leftover shoulder-spike from the terminator lord and it looks perfect.

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.
