The whip-thin imperial guard Colonel, he radiates awesomness. The sculptor even managed to get the sword to be held in a pencil grip.

Yes, everyone seems to like that model.
(IG dude). I reckon it could be re-sculpted though, make the features more defined and detailed.

That guy in the middle, that's what The Empire needs more of and less of the giant mechanical horses or yet another silly flame-coated mage, just a mean looking bastard who's eaten too many pies and become folically challenged in his old age. Like a roadie from a motorhead tour of yesteryear with a bigass sword.
I want more minis like that guy, more character instead of muscles on their muscles, screaming and all that.

The Skullz Adeptus Mechanicus set has probably been overshadowed since it came out a decade ago, but at the time it just blew my freaking mind.

"Well, isn't the enemy of your enemy, like, your friend? Or whatever? Can't they team up?"
"Not exactly. In this setting, the enemy of your enemy is still a floating, greasy, armored brain."
"Well, what about his enemy? Maybe you could be friends with him."
"No, because that guy is a mechanical horror in an undying battle shell. He sails from world to world in a flying tomb, serving gods who eat hope."

There's many great models. For me it's a tie between the Chaplain termie, the IG Colonel and the Chaos Lord.
Yes the chaplain is just another heavy power armour, but there's such force in that mini. He doesn't run, he doesn't walk, he doesn't need it. He just points and shoots. Anything left will get wtfcrozium'd. The paintjob is critical though. Not sure if he'd look as imposing with my skills.
The Colonel is just so majestic, so unyielding. What the IG stands for.
The Chaos Lords...both the daemonic and the juggernaut, what gets to me is the sense of heavyness. Those mounts will trample the crap out of whatever they charge, no question. The daemonic mount wins though, i'm a big fan of heavy duty horses.

Dwarf King on Shield Bearers and Belakor are two faves. But I do dearly miss my fan service Daemonnettes. All that offical GW nudity really appeals to my basest inner 15yo.

Good news. This is the best time in the hobby. Full of promise. GW lets us down each time and we know it but secretly we're hoping that this is the edition that GW gives us a balanced game that can also be played competitively at tournaments. I'm loving it.

Indeed, some of the Wood Elf range, with perhaps the exception of Orion and his sheep dogs (although those do have a certain charm to them) is quite beautiful.
These one is one of my favorites:

Ye gods... warning.. (NSFW?!)...
I first typed in 'orc cheerleader' into google and got this:
Although I think the above is more similar to the ogre cheerleader...
The classic ork cheerleader..
And this one, which somehow manages to be more disturbing (I think it's a greenstuff conversion, and not for sale)

Best could be the one sculpt that will still be around in another 1000 years. Just based on numbers produced, that would have to be the plastic gretchin released in the first boxed set for 40k? It's one miniature that is guaranteed to be found almost everywhere on the planet, even in homes of those who don't wargame.
Seriously though my vote goes to the imperial guard beastman packmaster: bottom left corner (couldn't find a better picture)

Old, not much too it, but my favourite.
