Hm. 769k/781k.
13 Hours to go.

Ogre made 923.5k
That's clearly a bridge too far.

800k is well within reach once the US and Europe both wake up, though. I wonder if they'll end it, go for 800k, or go all out for 830k or even 850k?

Impressive. This is really rocketing up. At this rate, we may get an Ogre to beat stretch goal soon! Interesting to note, SW has almost half the backers of Zombiecide.

Well, think the EU is just waking up now! That final pledge amount looks like it's going to be broken easily.

I'm a little disappointed about how little support the game has got in some areas of the internet/on blogs. Perhaps it might also have suffered a little from coming out alongside 6th edition (finishing on the same day as the book's release in fact!) and the fact that so much internet attention is on that book. Although, the timing of the KS was pretty good, and I'm sure their were a fair few 'rage-pledges' off the back of the GW price increase last month.

I wonder also if a lot of the younger players don't know about Mike McVey, and what an important part he was of the GW design studio during its formative years?

I think you're right on all counts there, but they've been incredibly successful. Even with Zombicide going before it, and CMON's organisation skills they could hardly have counted on this much success.

Oh yeah.. 3k to go.

There's been a couple of pull outs. I've seen it go down a hundred or so when I've refreshed. Odd considering how close we are. But refresh again and it goes back up. Amazing. I wish playing the stock market was this fun.

Close to 1k away.

People could be pulling out to see wether there is another stretch goal, which by the sounds of it there isn't but fingers cross there could a mini goal for 800k

Less than 1k... where's the next stretch? I bet they let it hit 800 then add something huge like 850 or 900.

I have to admit, that despite already being in, and getting tons of freebies, and being happy for the no-frills version of Biohazard when I first chose it - If the next stretch is a huge 850 or 900, I will resent it a bit as them being a bit too much of a cynical grab. I guess the Mantic style didn't manage to rub me the wrong way, as I went to sleep as they headed to the final stretch and when I woke up they'd achieved it and also a couple of others as they went for smaller stretch rewards.

Lots of entitlement mentality over there. Lots of dislike over the evils of IP infringement on figures like Banks, Hexen, and Ridley (including one guy who put GW on an originality pedestal - I shirt you not.) Lots of complaining that McVey and Rob have no board game heritage. Lots of complaining that the whole of the rule books aren't available to download. Lots of complaints that the game may not have umpteen expansions down the line. Lots of negation of the value of the miniatures since they're just cheap playing pieces. And above all - lots of wailing and gnashing of teeth about the optional extras not really being optional if you want "the full game experience" and the fact that "nearly all" of the bonus characters are ripoffs.

To give credit, the above discussions have people defending SW and pointing out "homage", and one guy who went to town on how "original" GW"s stuff actually is(n't). But...

It's a very different community to here with a very different mentality.

Wow, those people really need frak off. Seriously. Get the game and it has 1 "IP" character in it. Booohooodillyhoo. That entitlement persona needs to grow up and wear some big boy pants. Word doesn't revolve around them. Same dimbulbs that squeel "Oh! This game doesn't have 64 multi-player support! It BLOWS!!" Yea, they need a few less teeth.

Now were 1k over.

Care to share? I missed it. It couldn't have been that bad...probably.

Might be a fun read, either way.

Probably the same brutal stupidity.

I have a feeling the artist is trying to draw something up quick for the last stretch.
