Hrmmm, I probably missed the memo, but I assume all the extra minis will be available for purchase after the game ships, right? I may need a dozen or so of those big suits, as well as a bunch of the big Strain things...

Honestly i think the guy on BGG does kinda have a minor point, Personally i would have rather they have added new characters relevant to the game instead of just doing a few homages to make a quick buck.
The last few models (Akosha, Morgan, Kara.) have all been great, but Riddick, Hexen and the firefly crew just look out of place to me.
Im not trying to hate on this kickstarter or anything, i've pledge $235 for the game and some of the extra models. I was even one of the first 30 people to pledge to the campaign on day 1.

My hunch is that those kind of 'renegade' characters fit with the Firebrand faction. Watching the video Mike mentions that this board game is an introduction to the universe...perhaps we will see more board games or add ons to this one. Personally, I was hoping that we'd get a Strain special character or Strained versions of the heroes. Maybe that will be the ONE MILLION DOLLARS stretch goal?

I emphatically agree. I have pretty much zero faith that this project will fund that much within the next 9 hours. It is at $800K as of this post.
I knew we would easily hit that goal of beating zombicide, but there was just too little too early for this game buzz wise or reward wise. Another day or two... maybe.
We all wish them luck in beating it though. Lord knows a game with high production values shopuld beat out a box of cardboard chits produced by a smug bastard.
Will these figures be produced to the point where they will come in boxed sets?
I'd like to get a few more of those battlesuits, and the strain sets.
How many per squad, how much do they cost, and when will they be available.
Next question is for the infected add ons. Are we going to be seeing them anytime soon?
And the million dollar question- How do these guys scale up next to the Infinity guys?

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

It's interesting. Some pictures of the Dreadknight show the GK's legs within the DK's legs, like a big power suit rather than a baby carrier. Now look at this mini. Imagine how much better than DK would have been if it'd been about 1/4th smaller, and like this power suit.

I'd be happy to be wrong, but yeah, at this point it's not a Stretch Goal, it's a Hubris Goal. Something to tease us because they're never going to make it. In any case, I put in +$25 when the last one went up in case we didn't get Kara, so now that $25'll cover Barker.

Good job guys! I just made the jump and pledged my allotted 150 bucks last night, and was psyched about seeing last night's 781 stretch goal. Now I get on this morning to check that everything went through (and for the last time in a week- honeymoon!), and we beat it!!!

It's a shame that I will be working when the time is up, incentive to survive the day I guess! Best of luck to us all, it's been said once already on this thread but I will say it again, most fun I have ever had buying a game!
