Practically finished my Massive Darkness kit bash ratman for my Five Parsecs crew and made more progress on my new scatter terrain pieces.

On tonights to-do list:
•Re-touches on Plague Marine #4,
•Building a pair of LI Stormhammers(?)
•Re-assembling a LI Reavers legs.

Heading to FLGS tonight to play WTOW in the local escalation league.

Beat Beastmen 2 weeks ago, no idea who I am playing tonight.

Today, I start a’tickling my biggest* scenery piece to date with the paintbrush.

*not that big to be honest.

Creating some scatter terrain.

some 30k this evening.

Big stuff - assorted Knights & Titans - hitting the table.

Had the game day with the kids yesterday, the last before the school holidays. Before that, I was painting furiously to try get some new Mantic Sci fi scatter terrain painted and almost managed it. Two weren't finished, but it was cool to have some new scatter terrain.

Only one kid came and because we played 1v1 we managed to get in two games of Grimdark Future: Firefight. The 1st was an objective game which I played as Attelus' elite team, which was made up of him, Karmen Kons, Adelana and a Crusader type vs the Future Robots from the Future. I won even though Attelus whiffed, badly but he managed to hold up 50% of the robots single handedly, but his sacrifice allowed Karmen and the others to kill the rest of the enemy team and secure 3 out of 4 of the objectives then use one as bait to lure out the remaining two.

The 2nd game was a "kill all game" I used Attelus and his team again and the kid used Inquisitor Arlathan Karkin and his team of Stormtroopers. I lost and I didn't even kill any of the Stormtroopers, but I killed Arlathan and that was my self made objective, so all goods lol.

Still a work in progress, but working on Large Ricky for an upcoming derby. First time really sitting down and painting a BT model, makes me wish I had a steadier hand at this scale, as these models are just screaming to be covered in art, graffiti and whatnot.

Built another box of Stormhammers for LI.

Other than a box of Dire Wolf Titans I'm completely caught up (again) on building for the Solar Auxillia.

The legs/torso/head of the LI Reaver I'm salvaging for my friend have now been stripped & properly re-assembled.
Next up: The arms/weapons & maybe some magnets.
Then, humidity permitting, a base coat with proper paint.

Cleaned up the hobby room so I can rotate how the desks go!

Painting some stargrave and frostgrave hybrid figures. A cyclops space mercenary barbarian group

Finished the re-build of my friends LI Reaver & got the guns magnetized tonight.

Base coating it tomorrow, humidity permitting.

Finished the Angry Pickle and painted up the mechs of the starter box as well.



Next up, an Urbie with rotary AC and a Madcat.

And miniature reclamation/salvage week continues.....

Today I spent the afternoon fixing the shops Boarding Action terrain. 2 complete sets worth.
1) The guy they had paint it last year? Didn't remove the many many spru bitz. Just snipped it all off the spue & gave it a basic dry brush job (even in the slots where the tabs connect the pieces).
This all results in it not fitting together well & not sitting flat.
2) That same guy? Also didn't bother to # the various pieces.
Making it irritating to assemble.

Well, those flaws are now corrected.

And now that the humidity has eased I can get my friends LI Reaver basecoated.

MOAR TERRAINS!

Whilst I await better weather to do my Zone Mortalis stuff, I continue to work on and tinker with my Sector Mechanicus gubbins.

Got some pipes and platforms in the spray box. But really do need to get smaller scatter scenery done.

Finally got an FDM printer so I'm starting to print out Space Hulk/ZM tiles that I got from Fabricator's Lair ( https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-gothic-navy-spaceship-a-boarding-action-terrain-292991 )

It's been SOOOO long since I've been able to do any terrain, but new house + New Printer means I finally have the space and means to churn some out

I've been considering an Armies On parade board for years, might actually do one next year...

Finished my second Urbie, makes me wish I had a steadier hand for when I dotted in the eyes and nostrils, but oh well, Large Ricky is done.



Next up a Madcat in Eridani Light colours as a homage to Mechwarrior 3, I am not looking forward to dotting in the missiles and the cockpit windows. ?

Finally Prime Day arrived!

Finished painting this guy up, part of a 1/35 scale KV-5, an unbuilt Soviet prototype that looks as impractical as a Leman Russ.

Working on Ash Wastes board.

Figured I would add a second old exarch to my plan to paint.

Finished equipping my Mantic Ver-meen tunnlers with melta barrels & heavy flamers.

Next up is writing up a D&D adventure for tomorrow evening....

Been blasting through some of my pile of shame, using it to practice faces and skin for a few minis I want to paint later. I also finished up some civilian minis and a D&D elf paladin or fighter mini On a whim, I picked up an old version of Attelus that I frigged the face of and have been fixing him up. I'm quite happy where he's turning out. I also began painting an old Eisenhorn proxy and Gaunt proxy too.

Borrowed some speed paints from the local Youth Group and that allowed me to finish painting some scatter terrain quite quickly. I also made more progress on my Eisenhorn proxy. He's close to being finished and I'm happy with how he's looking.

Still organizing the hobby room after getting a new desk so that's my big project and until it's done I can't do any minis :-(

Repair work on a Custodes collection I picked up cheap the other week.
Reattaching some arms. Replacing a missing head. Replacing broken/flight stands, etc.

My new silver paint arrived today, I bought Two Thin Coats and I've gotta say, it's a much nicer metallic paint to work with and looks nicer than Citadel stuff. So I made more progress on that Attelus mini, the Eisenhorn proxy and a Gaunt proxy, too.

Finished up repairing/replacing the bases & flight stands on a dozen Dawn Eagle Custode bikes.
