Well, all speculative like I said, but I would just assume they stopped making Talos' and Scourges a while ago, and that they still have Talos' left to sell, while the Scourges are either sold out or mostly sold to unsuspecting FLGS' lol.
No offense taken no worries, just from a business point of view, I don't see how taking the stock off of the site if it still existed with month's to go on the release of new versions would be beneficial. I suppose though since they are metal they could recycle the costs a bit.

The equipment of the Scourges, and their descriptions, have changed a lot. You can't make a 5 minis unit with 2 Splinter Cannons and 2 Dark Lances (wich is the equipment included in the old box). The Talos hasn't changed that much. It has more options now, but the mini is still valid, while scourges aren't.
They are selling the old Haemis and the Talos. I hope they'll make new models for them. If this minis are still available, it might mean that they will be the last to be updated, but I don't think it's probable. I only know two things: Talos needs to be plastic, and Haemis need to be cooler than the old minis.

That's news to me.
I thought the Court of the Archon, Grotesques, Chronos, Venom, Fighter, Bomber, Razorwing Flock and Clawed Fiend never had a model and had to be converted. The Haemonculi, Scourges, Wracks, Khymerae and Talos have to be updated. The Trueborn and Bloodbrides had to be converted slightly and expensively from their Troops options.
I was talking about the OLD range. Every unit in the OLD codex had models, so obviously saying "such and such won't be replaced because it has an existing model" is kind of a weak argument when warriors, wyches, incubi, the archon, etc. have all been replaced.
Oshova wrote:I believe that Sid was referring to the old Codex . . . but he would still be wrong =p As I'm 99% sure The Decapitator and Kruellagh never had models . . . Or atleast I've never seen them anywhere
Kruellagh had a model. So technically I only missed one, which invalidates my entire fething point I guess. GG
MajorTom11 wrote:Honestly, the drastic re-design of the Talos in the codex makes me really doubt that they are going to skip it over.
Exactly. They've spent 5 years and untold thousands of dollars redesigning the entire army, they paid someone to make new artwork for the talos, only to skip it over entirely and make everyone use the old model that no one wanted in the first place (hey GW, the old range didn't sell for a reason)?
It's absurd, but I dunno, I wouldn't put it past them.

Based on the latest rumors, it sounds like Grey Knights/Inquisition are pretty much assured for January (will probably see an Advanced Order notice here in early in December), then probably Fantasy in February (Orcs and Goblins, it seems), and probably 40K releases in March, which might include the next DE wave, whatever that ends up being. The rumors of the "Summer of Flyers" suggests that kits like the Venom and Voidraven/Razorwing might not be released until the summer, but who knows.

Actually, no. GW has confirmed in its newsletters:
January second wave Skaven.
February second wave BA.
