Thanks guys,

Yeah the rivets were individually cut and glued from polystyrene rod that had been roughed up (filter beads are the bomb but look really clean... perfect for imperial builds).

Well, new year, new build.

Next is going to be a unit of drabber pattern MANz.

Here is the very rough prototype frame after an evening choppin' an' gluin'

next, rods and tubes for hydrolic rams, .25mm plasticard plate details then the inevitable task of riveting

Looks, great, I love the proportion.

Mega armor conversions always crack me up because the hands look like those toy Hulk Hands (until you add the necessary gubbinz and pipes)

I think it look a bit rough tbh but thanks. I am only using scrap from my bitz box. I'm saving the decent bitz for when I've finished cutting my teef on this first one.

To answer, I will be repainting it totally. It will just be too much a pain in the arse to mask off the face when I undercoat it. I'm not going to be too precious with this one as I'm using it to learn from mistakes and all that.

Messed around with it a bit more but I cant really get much further until my new scalpel blades and styrene rods arrive... hopefully tomorrow!

I'm itching to get riveting XD it's addictive

I like the back gubbinz. We do need some hydraulics though! Hydraulics are almost as important as rivets in the 41st millenuim!

Cheers fellas.

I'm really having to try hard to find time for this XD however I have found time to put berets on all of my kommandos now, they're being left to dry before doing all of there shirt sleeves as per the ones earlier in the thread (that makes 15 including a snik konversion with sluggas, stabbas and a couple throwing stick bombs).

well here's how the prototype looks undercoated.

Some of the glue joins look real messy but that's because I ran out of the good glue and ended up having to use the revell brush applicator stuff that is very thick and gak for detailed gluing... lesson 1 learned and a new needle point, thin plastic glue has arrived

And here are the other 5 growing from mere spores... awe ^-^
