started to undercoat the gunner head, driver and grots, plus the nob that leads the'ard boyz, small step, but a step closer anyway.
Unfortunally I wanted to spray the kanz as well, but today there is a wind that shakes the universe in my place...

Here a couple of shots of the base for one of the Kanz, I like the dark base with the dry static grass contrast, and planning to go ahead for all the army with this.

Hi guys, didn't finish to base all the 'ard boyz, waiting for the glue to dry, but I kicked off my first Kan
I loved painting this monster and I'm really pleased with the result being my biggest mini ever tackled with a brush.
The front plate says in Ork writing "GRAB". C&C welcome as usual







And a bonus shot with the only 'ard Boy with a proper base (made to try out how It would look)

He's really looking nice, from pose to painting! Do you use decals for the checks and triangles or are those all hand painted?

Actually, there are ways to avoid the shine I'd say you can tell because at extreme magnification it doesn't have the sharp crisp checks and dags of a decal - though, you always have to worry about perfection and Orks...

On a more on topic note - the Kan is very nicely done! I predict your force is going to look very striking on the table top when complete!

Thank You guys, I have to say that I love this orange as well.
I changed from the one I used for the 'ard Boyz armor: It was white undercoat, two layers of blazing orange and Highlight with vomit brown, after that the chipping (sponge with black and detail brush with Boltgun metal) and at the end a wash of Gryphonne sepia.
The new orange is the same base, but washed with Devlan mud and after highlighted with a 1:1 blazing orange vomit brown plus chipping the same way.

I'm working now on the orange on the Kan with the front plate from the SM Dread and the Nob that will lead this bunch of ?arder boyz.
