It's often possible to get in on these afterwards (or so they say), you might try contacting Tre through KS, or on the forums on his web store. Although if you just want those things, might just wait on the retail, I dunno.

E-mail wrote:Wow! That was one HELL of a ride!! At first I thought I would be lucky to make the $5,000.00 in 30 days, $10,000 if I was REALLY lucky. Those numbers came and went pretty quickly and suddenly my head was reeling with possibility. For the first time in a VERY long time I felt real hope. But by the end of the campaign I felt not only hope but very real CONFIDENCE. This will make a WORLD of difference in the present and future of RBG.

For years I have been barely breaking even every month or fallign far short and tryign desperately to make up the difference where ever I could. I had considered several times selling the business to more capable hands that could reach into deeper pockets to put RBG in the position to deliver in ways that I felt the fans and supporters deserved. There were times when I wondered even if anyone WOULD buy the business. But through every cold creeping darkness your enthusiasm was the daylight at the end of the tunnel that would not let me rest until I had hauled the treasure out of the Dungeon and back to town. Everytime I considered selling out I wondered how it would effect the collections you guys had built and if the product would remain true to the vision that I had built and that you guy shad invested so much into? Every time the same answer echoed back.......... Keep your hands on the wheel.

I may just be making toy soldiers but there is high level of emotion that is involved in this for me. I consider it the highest honour that there are people out there who buy my works to represent the heroes and demons of their imaginings. It is as if you offer a place for my visions in your dreams and nightmares and that is incredibly profound for me. Maybe I am reading too much into it but that is the way I feel about it. I don't want to go off all hokey and mushy as I am afraid my beard may fall out so I will just leave it at saying that this Kickstarter has invigorated me and it has humbled AND emboldened me at once. You will see big things from RBG from this. Dave will have his hands as full as I can make them with artwork, the rules and fluff will be a reality MUCH sooner than I had anticipated ( Beta version in October. ) as now I can afford to take a little time away from sculpting ( Not too much mind!! ) to get the bones ready to hand off to a very very capable set of hands ( no names yet as schedules must align ). This also means that the next kickstarter will be much more ready and refined from the " go ". Better marketing materials, better distribution ( as the margins will finally allow it! ), more retools. I really cannot imagine what kind of impact this will make on my life and my business btu I assure you that RBG is goign to continue to grow and to flourish!

Thank you all so very very much for the support, for the enthusiasm, for your efforts and your contributions. This is the start of big things and it is ALL because of YA'LL!!

Sincerely,

Tre' Manor

I'm very happy for Tre and for how it has ended. I don't want to be a bubble-buster, but I would recommend now a bit of caution. This Kickstarter has been a success, but one of the things that makes us jump in the projects, at least to me, is the sense of "unique". Like it's a very special chance to show your support, spend more money than usual, and finally get very special perk. But when more kickstarters are made by the same people, they lose a bit of that "new" and "unique" sense. So, if you Tre are going to make more Kickstarter projects, if I were you I wouldn't aim for much bigger things. I would start again with a low and realistic amount of money, and an amount of work that you can control, and then go with the flow. Repeating this success is difficult, not impossible though.

By now, I'll just wait to see how awesome our new minis look, and I hope I will be able to contribute in at least the same level with your next project. Bestest luck Tre!!

Tre on KS wrote:Hey guys,

Well the surveys are finished..... I am never one to put off what can be done now. Besides I am ready to get all of this wrapped up so I can begin work on the next set of figures for the next Kickstarter. This next time around I would like to have as much of the sculpting done as possible BEFORE the campaign begins! I am going through the surveys making CERTAIN that everything is working properly. The survey that you get through kickstarter will ONLY have a link to the survey monkey online survey. This was the only way I could think of to make the survey cover all of the neccessities.

So when you receive the kickstarter survey in it there will only be a link a to the survey monkey survey. From there you will be able to select the exact rewards you want to apply your pledge towards and also add whatever you feel like you want more of as well. At the end of the survey you will be able to adjust the final total to cover any additions and then you will be asked to send the money to cover that difference direct to my Paypal address.

Thanks for your patience on this. and now I am on to the last bit of sculpting! Be lookign for updates on the WIPs starting tonight!

Cheers,

Tre'

I had spoken to Tre when the KS ended, and he told me we could increase our pledge levels: is there a way to do so with the current pledge manager and I'm just not seeing it, or is it just really awkward and you would have to write everything out longhand?

Only issue I had-
The Wolves were not listed, and the choices lost in translation.

I am never the less happy that I could help a top notch sculpter of Tre's caliber and cannot wait for the finished product.

Thanks Tre for the effort!

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

I responded the survey now too. Tre is going to be busy with 700+ survey and shipments

I have a question :S The survey specifies we can repeat ranks (for example 3x Helsvakt Horde). It's not mentioned in the characters paragraph, I'm guessing it's allowed too?? Because I chose 2x Red Olga I hope that won't be a problem.

Hey guys!

Sorry this has taken so long. I have been hacking away at the survey info and all the other bits and bobs that go into running this campaign. I am getting closer to the finish now but MAN has it been a job! Not that I would not do it again mind!

Anyway the best part about getting nearer the finish of the data entry is that I can FINALLY get back to SCULPTING!!! I should have these figures finished by tomorrow evening and hen it is on to Svetlana! After her, the CAVALRY!!!

So without further hey-diddly-doo-there.

Cheers guys!

Update from Tre'

hey Guys,

Well much later than promised but here is what I have right now. I will be wrapping up the war staff tonight. I am not liking the skulls on these so I will be going back to resculpt those. I think I just tried to make too many of them at once and did not put enough effort into each individual.

Svetlana WOUDL be finished right now had I not accidentally borken the armature wire for her head. The subsequent rain of curses did very little to make the situation better, but I figured out a fix for it. Then today just as I had the face perfected and was putting hte very last touch on the left cheek flange I twitched and pressed the edge fo my sculpting tool through the left cheek of the face RUINING her face. I tried to fix it but it looks liek hell. I am will be resculpting that as well. I will be happy when I get these done as I can then work on finishign Conradt in Warp and get to Morgrimn and the Dire Wolves.

By the time this is all said and done I am not even going to want to LOOK at another skull for at least a year!

Cheers guys!!
