Personally, I don't like them, and I think the paint job is pants. Probably some of the worst models FW have produced, but that's just my humble opinion......

Which means you've never seen Nagash, then. These are okay, but they really seem more like spawn, not ogryns. The other ogs look cooler.

Those look like great nurgle daemon princes and the like, but I am not so sure they look ogryn'y.. maybe, I am just biased in that I like the ogryn's to look less like daemons and more like pustuled ogryns..

They do look more like nurgle daemons then evil ogryns. I like the models just not the price tag :(

If I didn't already have a Krieg theme for my Kroot, I'd use these guys as Kroot hounds. They look like the cute HALO zombies that explode. Yeah, these guys and the Big Bro Ogryns as Krootoxen.

Also I don't know why you guys are complaining about it not looking Ogryn-y enough because those Big Brother Ogryns are awesome enough. Though I do agree if you mean to say "WTF why'd they call these ogryns and not just market them as ugly ogres or something".

Did FW ever make a Nagash? I thought that was just GW's ugly model.

But yeah, those models don't really scream Ogryn to me. In fact, there's almost nothing about them that says Ogryn to me. If I wanted Plague Ogryn, I'd convert them from OK models, but these just don't look like Ogryn to me.

I would use these as daemonic heralds but pretty much thats it. I think they look good, just whoever painted them sucks ass.

I tend to think of both companies as part of the same whole. I think that the orginal FW rebel ogs would make great nurgle ogs with just a change in paint scheme. It's not to say that these are not great models. They are. But they don;t scream mutated ogryn to me, they seem more daemonic.

They look wrong. Number three reminds me of those goofy looking chaos trolls. A shame seeing as the FW Ogryns look nails. Still, a rare blip for FW.

I really should be spending my time more constructively.

Yes i have to agree with the majority on this, for me they are just chaos spawns and a lot less interesting and cool than the previous ogryns... Will save me some money.
Sorceror is wicked. Love it.

Yeah, paint looks a little chunky on the sorceror, but otherwise looks like a great sculpt!

The "Nurgle Ogryn" models are actually very interesting, just 90% unrecognizable as Ogryn. Warped models are most fun when they're clear perversions of the original. As a general Nurgle humanoid model they're great. I'd love them as an extremely expensive set of Plaguebearers.

Nurgle Dreadnought: 10/10. Can't say enough good things about it. I want 14 of them.

Sorcerer of Nurgle: Agreed on the poor painting. Shockingly bad for the FW site, in fact. But the model is awesome!

After seeing what FW did with the Death Guard conversion sets, It looks like they dropped the ball on this one!

Wait, these were supposed to be the plague ogryns people were talking about? I thought the big bro ogryns were those cuz they had the hoods, the pipes, and were all painted green. I thought these were just variants of those. I know the other ones were called renegade but thought that just meant they were for that offshoot rebel faction but were still firmly Nurgle models.

Yeah...
I saw the ogryns upainted a while ago and was thinking they don't look like ogryn... they could be a good nurgle greater daemon that isnt a great unclean one...
I hate fielding a GUO as a GD, or any daemon as a generic daemon for that matter... it just sucks balls that he's not as awesome as he should be!

the dread is a totally different story and i'll probabily get one or maybe two... just cause i love FW's nurgle dreads...

PaniC...

Mind you I don't think they're badly done. They're not bad sculpts. I think they're just mislabeled. It's a misnomer to call them Plague Ogryns. Are they a bad sculpt of an Ogryn? Yeah. Are they a good sculpt of a large Nurgle-esque demon. Yes.

They're not Ogryns - they're Chaos Ogres of Nurgle, for WFB.

Am I the only one who thinks the sorcerer looks crap? If you told me this was a conversion from someone new to the hobby I'd believe you. Even looking through the caked on paint it looks dire. How is this classed in the same vein as Typhus?!

Ok. Well. Two out of the three of them don't even really resemble Ogres.

Utter garbage from forgeworld. These have got to be some of the weakest products they have come up with, yet.

The Nurgle sorceror is just as bad, but it is closer to a space marine then these three turds are ogryn.

Good dred, but out of place, as it actually looks pretty cool, compared to the other garbage.
