Because none of the towns suit a quest involving a railroad We'd have to remove that aspect or create something wholly new.
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

"You need not fear us, unless you are a dark heart, a vile one who preys on the innocent; I promise, you can’t hide forever in the empty darkness, for we will hunt you down like the animals you are, and pull you into the very bowels of hell." Iron - Within Temptation
First of all, "railroad" isn't a literal term here. It refers to a system of smuggling people under the noses of some authority adverse to their migration.
Second, is this quest something that you want to do before, during, or after the main quest?
IMO, how the quest begins should depend on whether the player has become allied with the Imperials or Stormcloaks or neither.
If you work for the Imperials, you are commanded to go "under cover" and use it to spread chaos for the Ulfric -- creating a racial anti-Stormcloak brigade.
Similarly, the Stormcloaks want you to infiltrate the organization -- but they want to root it out and destory to keep non-Nords out of Skyrim.
If the player is non-aligned, s/he stumbles upon the quest as a rumor.
The player should have the opportunity to be "evil" and follow her/his orders from either the Imperials or Stormcloaks. But there should also be a choice to do "the right thing" and help various non-Nords settle into various towns and villages throughout Skyrim.

Not true, depends on the region/state/territory/province.
It was a joke, eh.

Is it bad im very unsatisfied with my sword + board fighter after about 15 hours of gameplay and want to swap to a bow+2 handed wielding, light armor wearing rogue style character?

Come to Alberta or BC... we don't sound anything like east coasters (the stereotypical sounding canadians).

Total Finecast models purchased: 5
Total models without Finecast issues out of those purchased: 0
... "Finecast"
I think it would be good/ funny to have the "leader" of the underground railroad be an unknown mysterious person up until the end of the quest line, then you get to meet him, and it turns out to be the storm cloak LT who hangs out with Ulfrik in Windhelm

I have just seemed to hit a funky snag.
I recently liberated the Reach and then went off doing some other stuff, then I came back to liberating skyrim. The Questline has no destination point and Ulfric isn't in Windhelm anymore. Its some lady jarl.
Whats up?
Self-proclaimed evil Cat-person. Dues Ex Felines
Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.
I just restarted the game (i was a level 46 Nord, but then I took an arrow to the knee)... Now, I am running around with a Dark Elf, and its kinda funny how many guards are like, "Watch yourself... ELF".. obviously using Elf as if it were a white person using the N word in the 1940s and 50s.
Cant say how the textures of the xbox are but i did see it on ps3 and could tell that the pc was much better. Not judging but thought I would throw up some screens.

When you suffer a Falling Sky hit, roll a D6 - on a 4+ the hit is ignored as per the Pinch of Salt save. On a 1-3 panic insues - you automatically fail common sense tests for the next 2 weeks and get +7 to your negativity stat. -Praxiss

I used to be able to voice act, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
A do gooders mod could deal with stopping an assassination attempt, a really involved Tom-Clancyesque mission with you finding documents and informants and then a final rush to kill the would be assassin.
Just finished the main quest, bit of anti climax at the end thought it would be more epic and some titles. But am just overwhelmed by the sheer size of the game, lots more quests to get done. The civil war quests any good? Gonna join the Stormcloaks.

Dont do it unless you dont like each hold having unique looking guards

Whether the quest is "good" in this case has more to do with whether the assassination target is good or not rather than with the player's choices/actions. If the target was an evil guy, preventing the assassination would not necessarily be good in a fantasy world. A true do-gooder quest centers on the player's choices being good, which means (IMO) that the player must have the choice to be evil as well.

The quests are as awsome as Ulfric's voice.
Epic win, that is.

I think it will largely depend on the graphic card on the PC.
middle of the road graphic cards wil probably not give much noticible difference between console and PC, but a high end graphics card will outstrip a console quite easily.

Also for the PC game you'll want to run the 4gb memory mod.

That 4gb mod is negatively impacting my gaming; I crash and freeze far more often whilst using it, and the times when I don't aren't any different from the game without it.

too late for that Im afraid, I did it a while back and I don't know if I made a save before I did. I'll check next time I play, but I may have just lost it.
the first time I used it I turned a guard into a sweet roll...
