Personally I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the plastic models.

Thanks for that, it's really useful!

I agree, they are looking like wonderful quality plastics.

For the scaling issue, here is a common pic comparing Cadians with Infinity minis (from left to right: metal cadian, plastic cadian, ariadna kazak, haqqislam ghulam) which should help to extrapolate some sense of scale.

I think it should be OK in both cases. Probably a little closer to the Infinity mini; as the models in the pic don't have arms, and one of the distinguishing features of those Cadians is they have hands that would make Michael Phelps feel inadequate.

I like their scale of the vanguard trooper versus the heroic-scaled Cadian! They look much closer to a true 28mm-scaled figure that's wearing armor.

Has anyone heard anything about their Pledge Manager? They're really taking their time, and I'd like to get paying for this SW stuff over and done with.

Today is pretty much day 30. I wouldn't say they're taking their time. Give the a few more days before getting annoyed. They've barely moved past the estimated time for the CKPM to go live.

Looking really good so far (especially the profile of her leg through the dress)

(and nice to see one of the exclusives so soon, she's not due to ship till March after all)

It's really good to see a company keeping us all interested AFTER they've got our cash

Likewise. Looks really nice but she's one of the few characters I didn't go for. Detail looks good.

Hmmm very nice model. Was that with the main $100 choice or an extra. I've completely lost track of what's what between the many kickstarters that all landed at once!

In before bewbs are not big enough for a female wargaming miniature crowd turn up.

She was a $10 extra along with the strain version (which I am interested to see!).

Note that the past e-mail sent out isn't 100% binding.
You can still rework the allotment of your pledge to get this mini.

You could ask someone you trust to add your copy to their pledge. You could ask CMoN to make an exception and add you to the late pledge list. Or - if you go to conventions - you will still be able to pick them up there.

Late pledges closed on the 14th of July the only way of getting in now is to find someone that has already pledged and is willing to add some stuff to their CKPM (due shortly) for you. As Alex said conventions are another option but numbers may be very limited and you may not get one there.

Wow! She looks exactly like the concepts! Lets hope all that detail can hold when it is made in plastic (the characters will be plastic right?).

At the rate they are sculpting the figures it seems silly to have to wait till March to get them now!

The add-on characters are supposedly going to be resin.

Looks really good. I think this is the character I'm most looking forward to painting. both the figures match the artwork really well.

I hope that the Ramirez sculpt is a bit more dynamic.

The extra characters will be made of the same plastiresin as the regular miniatures (shown earlier) - it holds details better than regular plastic and it must be superglued it will not take regular plastic glue.

Yannick is also responsible for sculpting Ridley it looks like he may be doing most of the female characters but he has also done some of the original Strain, I assume Kev White and JAG will also do some of the extra scuplts.

I like this, but maybe not as much as the Hexen sculpt. Maybe the nose is a little too flat ?

I think the HUGE gun fits well with the overly combat skilled survivor though

I'm glad I picked Ridley for my extra figure. If the normal version is this nice the Strain'ed version should be awesome. I wanted Ridley badly because both versions will make great characters for their respective factions.

The only problem I have is the gigantic gun- though it's just a gripe. Overall it's not bad, but check out the grip- it seems HUGE!

It does seem a bit large, but it's also a huge centerpiece from the iconic scene/still.

A new update on the Kickstarter page by CMON

"In order to address the numerous queries as efficiently as possible, here's a short announcement:

The CKPM isn't out yet, it's currently being beta tested now for SW:BfA and should be ready soon. It'll be open for a good amount of time too (at least 4 weeks) so don't worry about timing stuff.

Fear not! When it's out, you will see an update from Kickstarter (i.e. here) that the CKPM is released!"

so the pledge manager looks like being a likkle bitty late, but they'll give us 4 weeks to decide on extras when it does go live

(NOTE: I don't think you'll be able to change things on this after you've submitted, so think what you want before completing it, I know I changed by mind within a day or so of the survey )

Fixture of Dakka

Yep once the CKPM is confirmed that's it no further changes or addtions so if your not sure don't confirm it until you have to.

You can change things as much as you like before confirming it will be prepopulated with your survey details but you do not have to stick to your survey choices you can change it around again and add extra if you want and pay by Paypal the only thing you need to ensure is that you spend all of your initial pledge money as there are no refunds if you don't.
