How about you do some Tyranid bastion bio-structures for Planetstrike?

They are working on a tyranid infested hulk theme for a display board made from the Battlefoams X-Board.

Everything we make right now is original, whether it's commissioned work or public offerings. Maybe one day we'll have kits available, but even those will probably have a unique twist to keep them from falling into the standard "cookie cutter" look of cast terrain. But I shouldn't say more at this time.

Steve is around, waiting for the next horrible, dangerous, scary encounter to land on and explore!

That hill tutorial is one of the best wargaming how-to articles I've ever seen. Nothing in there is particularly mind-blowing regarding materials or process, but seeing it set out like that, I suddenly feel like I could make attractive, not merely passable, terrain. You continue to be my terrain-making hero.

I'm happy to hear that! That was exactly my goal, to show something simple, done right. It's Just one of the first of many tutorials and tips articles that I hope will make the idea of high-quality, beautiful terrain feel more attainable and in reach of even the casual hobbyist.

I loved your article terraformer, and your terrain too of course.

Your urban landscapes are especially inspiring - the shot of the overpass with the propaganda poster on the wall was like a story told in terrain form.

While we were working, we had the movie Pitch Black on in the background, and we glanced up at this scene:



And said "Now THAT would be creepy to walk through." And so here's the result of that little shot of inspiration:



Fumaroles? Burrows? Harmless Geology or Sinister Lair? Who Knows, we sent Steve and his boys down for a look around.

Your sceneries look so good. The hills for exemple are quite simple to do (at least they seem to be simple) but the result is awesome.

When I'll have time enough I'll make some new scenery elements, and be sure your topic will be very inspiring.

the bunker looks great, it is more on the opposite end of the scifi spectrum as some 40k things ive seen and i like it!

and I thought that my scratch built chaos board was looking good, now I know why no-one is bothering to post on my WIP (I have replied 5 times out of 7).

Now THAT is a bunker! Terrific as always.
