Ogryns have 3 wounds, fairly crap saves, they're expensive, but in this case, you have 30 ablative wounds, and then another 3 wounds, and on which, all successful To-Wound rolls allocated to him must be re-rolled, but anyway....

If they footslog, the Ogryns will be gone either entirely, or greatly dwindled down, and Yarrick might start to break a sweat of worry...

If they take a Chimera, their chances of surviving are greater, so there you go for that. But that Chimera will be shot down before it gets halfway, if your opponent's smart.

So either way, you wont get into assault(which is what you want) with what you paid for. Unless you pull Cover saves out of thin air (or atleast thin trees)

I'd take him with Grey Knights ;D Yaaayyy Shrouding, Yaaayyy NFW's, Yaaayyy Psycannons, Yaaayyy Power Armour, Yaaayyy cheaper point cost....

No, but it's like clogging a blender with platinum nuggets when there's lead available.

O H I am in the Webway...

The real question is, how hard will your opponent laugh when you have spent so much on such a bad squad?

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster and if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you

The unit is FAR from useless, it's just to expensive for what it does.

"Each must find their own way. If those in our heartland had witnessed the savageries of the void as have we they would know this. The hand of each of the great starfarers is turned against the other; none will join their strength together just to to see their ancient enemies prosper. Neither should we."

The problem is, when it is as expensive as it is, it is pretty useless...

In my 1000 to 1500 elevation, I add 3 Leman Russes.
But in MY 1000 to 1500 elevation, I add 10 Ogryns and Yarrik. They'll totally own all your tanks!

Okay - Ogryns need coversaves and/or transports. First turn 12" move + 1-2" disembark + D6" run (ooor) 3D6" pick the highest run = not bad movement.

Buy 5. then Buy cover/transport. Got it
