Another attempt at running a blog. I don't have much hope I'll be able to maintain it to a decent level so we'll have to do with erratic, sporadic updates resulting from my short attention span and rather stormy kind of approach to work.

In fact the very first thing here is a prime example of my drifting-on-an-ocean-in-a-nutshell-without-a-paddle mindset as I actually got a bit lost. Actually not a bit. A lot actually.

I've got myself the new fancy Wraithlord kit. I always wanted to get one to make it like those kung-fu ones floating on CMON jumping on a Carnifex with a katana above his head. The model looked very poseable (FF is telling me it's not a real word - he's an American so he knows better) and had clean, nice lines.

So, the kit arrives, I unpack it and... well, somehow it turned into this. Remember, I just wanted to repose the Wraithlord.

At this point I'm not sure if it's a Dark Eldar warmachine, some strange AT-43 Therian machine or maybe a Slaneesh Demon Engine. The last option is quite tempting as I could mount two large blaster type speakers on those "ears" above the torso and I'm (currently at least) planning to make the arms bifurcated.

Haha, seems like your reposing project turned into something quite excellent.

Personally, I think you should keep it as a Wraithlord, just a harlequin version. That's what it made me think. I mean, who knows what shenanigans dead harlies get up to?

Harlequin seems the best way to go with this.
This is quite exquisite to be honest. Though the actual kit is not bad. A bit static maybe, but not bad. This though, is a fantastic change.

Wow, that pose and delicateness makes it ideal to stay as Eldar, Harlequin would be a cool way to go but I think that would look cool even in normal Craftworld colours.

Wow, very fluid and haunting. I have to second/third/fourth the idea of a Harlequin Wraithlord. I don't know what your painting chops are like, but if they're close to your ability to convert, you could do some fantastic things with a Harlequin scheme. Please try to stay focused on this project for a bit and keep us updated

I'd be tempted to tell you to convert it to a Slaaneshi daemon-engine (I'm on a daemonic trend right now), but I think you've captured in a nice fashion the Harlequin spirit...

The mask of course, but also the various poses and slender limbs... I think you get it right!

Harlequin wraith lord is the only way to got. can't do anything else. Just imagine that with checks all over the head piece and all the wires multi-couloured...Awesome!

I see the overwhelming majority goes with Harlequins. Fine, fine...

Maybe you have some ideas what to do with those shoulder pods now that I won't be mounting speaker blasters there? They look kinda out of place now and I'd want to avoid mounting weapons there, they'd interfere with the general flow of the model too much...

The face could be from I Robot though it wasn't a conscious decision. Since I had to google Safe Guard and found nothing familiar I must assume inspiration came from somewhere else... In fact I don't think I can single out any particular source of inspiration. Giger would probably be a good start.

I would like to see something like rather over done shoulder pads.You could then paint it in a nice check pattern.Or perhaps make them giant jigsaw pieces,I have no idea why though.

You need to just walk around and take pictures of your junk drawers or counter tops or something to balance things out, especially if they are filled with things like this.

I've sculpted it. It's Pro Create and Milliput, thats why it looks a bit like plastic.

Technically it's not a real update (Dear God, that would be crazy if I could produce an update two days after making the log) but I was doodling up some concepts for the weapon. I'm thinking about some fancy missile launcher that works like a gatling Harlequin gun (the one that has rending). BOOM -> shreds.
