GW have kindly provided a paint scheme that will make your minotaurs look breathtakingly stunning. I'm really going to have go out and buy some now just so I can try this out.

This is total crap. I'm horrified that someone at the GW studio thinks 'big fat bare man-ass' is some award winning paint job. Let's make sure the younger generation knows how to paint buttcracks correctly.

I can just see my next painting class: "Ok Timmy, let me show you how to get a little blackwash into his crack, and then we'll highlight the cheeks some." Some mother would have me in jail on child porn charges.

Why does the minotaur look like he's waxed? Too much flesh, beastmen and the like are supposed to be hairy. The sculpt looks bad and the painting is dreadful. Pull yourself together GW.

These were painted by a guy from Spain. I actually kind of like them with this paintscheme, but overall, they are crap.

For me, they are beaten into "worst GW model ever - 1st Place" only by the legendarily awful Nagash.

And that paint job is beyond hideous all the way into eye-gougingly awful.

I really like these models in person. I don't think the paint schemes do them justice.

Also, I prefer all of the beastmen painted in a darker shade of flesh...

Thinking about it, Minos might look slightly better than mediocre with just a straight coat of Talarn Flesh followed by an Ogryn flesh wash. Must resist temptation to prove popular oppinion wrong.

OK, that paint scheme IS better.

And the GW article does show the 'bare' plastic and that looks better than the 'official' paint jobs too...
