At my flgs were having this discussion, ork boyz have a natural two attacks, does that include the fact that they come standard with choppa and slugga?

No, they come standard with two attacks, three attacks with Choppas and Sluggas, four attacks on the charge. . . . . and if you roll a 5 I believe on the wierdboy power, 5 attacks

Extra attacks are only included in the model's profile if their entry specifically says so.

Yep, a Boy with a Slugga and Choppa has 3 attacks, while a Shoota Boy has 2.

Anyway, the best argument is this situation is to say;

"Of course the statline doesn't include the extra attack from being armed with additional close combat weapons.
For one, that extra attack is a modifier added during CC, not all the time.
Two, it is a modifier that can be prevented from happening.
And three, if it was the case of being included, then Assault Marines would be "born" with 0 attacks".

Why did you strike out #2? Wych Weapons prevent the bonus attack.

Oh yeah. I was indeed thinking about Wych weapons when I wrote #2.

Then I thought ; "Wait a minute. Isn't it the bonus attack from charging that it prevents? I'll just strike it out."

Which is of course wrong as that is the effect of Defensive Grenades.

Oh well...

Defensive grenades prevent the charging bonus. Wych weapons don't take away the charging bonus, they take away close combat weapons. If wyches charge YOU, you still get -1 attack if you have two CCWs.

Isn't that what I just said?
