I'm new not only to the site, but also to wargaming. I just started playing 40k in the past month. In fact, I just got to play my first game this week. It was a 4-person/2-team game with some friends and we won!

Since I just started, I don't have many painted models yet, but I will post what is done ASAP. I've been an artist for probably a decade now (a paid one for a few years now), and I am very much enjoying getting to paint minis. My friends were jealous because apparently my first mini looked better than all of theirs. Oops.

If anyone would like to arrange for me to paint theirs, I would love to (for a fee, of course. Time is money, after all.). I should have some example pictures up in a few days.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. And, now that I realized I can just put my camera's memory card in my laptop (duh...), I have the requested pictures. The last two Dark Reapers don't get their own pictures yet because their guns aren't finished and attached. Here's what I have done so far paint-wise. Enjoy!

I love painting, but I do know I lack experience with minis and these paints. Those are GW minis with GW primer and paints only. ^_^ It's what I've got. Also, the Farseer Council has little pebble stuff. I'll add grass to all the bases when I get it... which will probably be when I get a job or find enough people who want to pay me to paint their minis that I can afford it. Heh.
