Why hello there Dakka Dakka fourms, didn't see you there creeping in the darkness. But now that I've found you I just wanted to say hi.

I love Warhammer: Skirmish! Which is weird because Warhammer is all about big blocks of guys hacking each other to bits. I like to play little skirmish battles and weaving them into larger campaigns. I'm currently developing an Empire vs. Chaos campaign which is about half way complete. I also might want to try out mordheim but I doubt there is anyone nearby to play it with.

As the name suggests I have a Dogs of War army half-painted that I love to death as well as many other armies. I currently have Dogs of War, Lizardmen (for Lustria scenarios!), Dorfs (Cannons go BOOOOM!), Empire, Warriors of Chaos, some Beastmen, and a lot of greenskins for the dwarfs to fight. Oh and I have a regiment of Brettonian bowmen that I completely abandoned.

It's a shame I picked up my dogs of war two editions later after they were abandoned. I have Marksmen of Miragliano, Pirazzo's Lost Legion, Braganzas Besiegers and soon I'll have Ricco's Republican Guard.

I used to have a small IG 40k army but they are long lost in the eye of terror. I love black library books and have around 70 of them but haven't read any of the recent ones.

Welcome to the proverbial jungle.
I'm a big fan of Mordheim and heartily suggest you jump on the chance to play if the opportunity presents itself.
Especially since you can obtain all of the rules material needed for free via pdf on GW's specialist games section of the website.
And if there's anything I've learned about gaming and modeling: If you build it they will come.
If there's anyone at your local gamestore that likes skirmish games, or miniature games talk to them about Mordheim and even better bring a spare gang and walk them through a game.
It draws attention and gets people interested in what you're wanting to do.
Heck, just having someone up at the shop playing, or at least ready to play mini games helps a lot in getting more folks up to the store.

How is it they live in such harmony - the billions of stars - when most men can barely go a minute without declaring war in their minds about someone they know.
