I bought a pair of Vypers and for the most part, assembling is straight forward enough, but I have run into two problems.

First - it has two Shuriken Cannons (No surprise) One obviously goes on the turret, the other is if you want to upgrade the TL Shuriken Catapults, but where the hell do I put it?

The Sprue also had a pair of - well they look like cowlings or nacelle parts. Two of them, mirror images of each other. I have no clue what they are or where they go - I can't see them in any Vyper photographs I've seen.

Finally - what's the best way to make the turret weapon stay on, short of gluing it? I want to be able to swap loadouts. Is this a job for magnets o is there something simpler?

Thanks in advance.

Its a reall pain to make the weapons on vypers interchangeable withoug them constantly falling off, I've tried with all 3 of mine
Magnets are probably the best option. Depending on who you game with, (I only play with friends) so I just stuck one weapon on and get away with using "counts as" to change the loadout

For the turret weapon I drilled asmall hole in the very bottom of the cup mount. This mates with a pin inserted in the corresponding part of the weapon side mount. Gravity does well enough in holding it in

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

I pinned mine as well, but the pin was in the mount and the hole in the weapon. Works ok.

I want to switch it up though. I would like to find something to replace the gunner with. Some mechanical turret instead.

I magnetized it - job's a good'un.

Will work out some sort of magnet mount for the underslung cannon - might call for a little greenstuff.

Looking at the Vyper - it's got a nice aesthetic. I think I'm going to try and get a similar look on the Jetbikes that have a Shuriken Cannon. Have it mounted on a structure behind and to the left of the rider, about shoulder level.

Thoughts?

I used the shrieker jetbike cannon for the vyper underslung cannon (but I had a ton of them, bought when the bikes were 'new' on the scene and cheap - it was more efficient to buy the shrieker boxes than normal ones).

After all, the mount for it AND the vyper are the same.

It needed a slight enlarging of the mounting hole in the cannon, but that was it.

As for the "turret" weapon, I use the warwalker/wraithlord heavy weapons and put a bit of greenstuff in the vyper mount. so I could mod the socket to fit.

Some pins and job was done.
