An unfortunate and common oversight with vehicles is that if they get stunned or shaken, then there passengers are unable to fire. They'll be alive, but they won't be shooting anything. If you're opponenet knows this, then that Battlewagon will be shut down. I had the same idea until I realized this.

So, just curious since it was mentioned earlier.

A looted wagon with a boomgun...is that worth looking at? Because the range, str, and AP are all better than a killkannon. I know the armor sucks, but just keep it behind cover and it doesn't need line of sight for an ordnance strike.

I use one, converted it out of a SM rhino and extra bits from the BW set. I keep it cheap, and it dose great as long as I don't care about it.It also can not be the only tank out on the board or it will get picked off by the heavy weapons, I run one with two BW transports and a Bigmek w/kff to set up multiple threats. It will either take attention off my transports and maybe get one shot off before getting aced, but that's taking the attention of a heavy weapon. Or it will get ignored and I end up dropping pie plates for at least two turns. Yeah maybe you might roll a 1, but that's how the orks roll, and the unpredictability is worth it for the points IMO.
