Playing with my old Kasrkin. 10 man squad left, one Basilisk, versus (Predictably?) a 6 man Terminator Squad, about to run into CC. Bassy fires, direct hit on one of the Termies: I almost shouted out 'WOMPH' as his body flew backwards. Termies charge, kill 4 of my Vets. Vet sarge eviscerates one with Power Sword, and the rest are gunned down by Hellguns/Heavy Bolter on Bassy next turn.

My 'Nid friend and I have a long standing competition between my Greater Daemon (Great Unclean One) and his Tyrant. He tends to jump the squad with my Sorcerer in it, forcing me to summon the Daemon near him to save the kill point. Usually, the Tyrant kills my Sorcerer just as my Greater Daemon arrives at the combat, and they square off in an epic duel. No such luck in this one, as I wasn't in range to cast any spells this turn. Managed to get 1 wound on and BAM! Force weapon, no more soul for you! The frantic look on his face was brilliant as he went to look up if that even worked on his Tyrant. After that, my Great Unclean One duck-rolled his lines. A happy ending for all!
