I, for one, would love the opportunity to buy a $200 ticket, wait in line for hours, get in and be told absolutely nothing.

Why do people got to games day again?

Hi Guys,

Panic - Your spot on man. Those are the stats for the Drones. The only thing left out is the damage the explosion actually does. I can't remember the exact wording, but its not fun for the attacker that takes the little guys down. They had the book in a binder with photo copied pages. The whole book was there, but with people in line all around you I only got a minute or two to look over things. The other cool model was the new deamon prince that just came out a few months ago. He shoots out some kind of smegma from those 3 barrels. Really nasty.

The book also had a tone of Grey Knights stuff and a bit of Khorn.

Back to Space Hulk. Guys, this may be just my opinion but its not coming out. These guys really had no idea why this rumor got started. J.J. looked like," why the hell would we release that again". I'm just stating facts I witnessed, not rumors on the net.

Panic, paint those things up fast. The book comes out in September and its going to be sweet.

An employee of GW, who isn't a red shirted one btw, told me today that he has already seen the actual product which is going to be in the secret box.

He did not tell anyone else, including his fellow GW workers, what the actual product will be because he does not want to lose his job, but he did give me the following information:

- It is NOT Space Hulk.

- It is made in China (he saw it in the Shanghai factory when he was there for work recently).

- It is something GW has done before, but nowhere near this good. This obviously means the previous claim that this will be something they have never done before is not true. Smells a bit like Space Hulk to me, despite their claims otherwise.

- There will be 30 miniatures in it (which smells a bit like Space Hulk numbers as well if you ask me).

- It will cost approximately 90,- Euro. Have we seen a price mentioned anywhere before?

- It can be used with existing GW product/miniatures as well as on it's own.

Of course I'm perfectly aware there is no guarantee this information is actually correct, so take all of this for what it's worth. I have been reading here for quite a while before I signed up, so I know the way a lot of people here think about a rumour like this, the credibility of similar rumours, and my own philosophy is "I'll believe it when it is actually confirmed by GW". However, I have no reason at all to believe this person was not telling me the truth, I don't know.

Then I am correct in assuming its a thunderhawk. Seems a bit cheap for one, but the transport capacity matches the number of miniatures included, and GW have made it before...

I totally agree with you Chrispy, but that is what J.J. said. He did say it in that deep funny brit accent. LOL

Anyway, only GW really knows whats coming out. My fav is when someone says they heard something from some red shirt, blue shirt, green shirt, black shirt whatever and 3 months later the thread is still going.

Those types of rumors grow and grow and soon they become facts until we all go to Games Day Chicago and it all ends up being BS.

Its just like the announcement of the new Army Race being discussed and unveiled at Games Day this weekend. LOL that Red Shirt or who ever it was that said that must feel kinda dumb right now.

For Jervis to answer the Space Hulk question so non caring it seems GW has bigger fish to fry. Maybe its a smoke screen maybe its not. I personally would rather have them spend their time on making a plastic thunderhawk and warhound. I know personally I would buy way more of those then, Space Hulk, Dark Eldar, or some other BS terrain piece.

hey Romeo, its Keith, we used to talk all the time when you called gw

The last I heard about a plastic Thunderhawk ( 6 months ago) was that it would be too expensive to do. But then, they said the same thing about the Stompa. I'm fairly certain that the T-Hawk will not be this product, based on conversations I have had.

Are we talking about Jervis's British accent or British accents in general?

Anyway, it seems that the standard response to "Is Space Hulk coming out?" is "I can neither can confirm or deny that, but I think you're going to like the upcoming releases."

So...

Howabout someone asks "I hate Space Hulk, it was total crap, you're not re-releasing it are you?" If you get the above response, it's definitely not coming out. Cunning application of logic you see

Exactly.

Space Hulk would sell a ton of boxes if they did a good job making the corridor scenery.

And it would sell at least a half-ton if they did the corridors poorly, even if it was the old cardstock versions.

You're better off going to the Frenzy, which is our equivelant of Games Day. It's good place to be if you like to game or buy FW stuff, other than that

Oh sure, we had Nick Kyme last year but yeah..

If I would go it would mainly be to pick up Forge World models.

The (Dutch) info on the Forge World site says you can order from them using a bank card too, but when I tried the only payment method was credit card. I don't feel like getting a credit card for the sole purpose of buying from Forge World, so that is crap. It would be better to be able to pick up the stuff at a convention.

Probably a silly suggestion but the store SubCultures in Utrecht allows you to place orders there by email that you can collect from their store and pay there once it's in.
