That mock-up flying thing from the Forge World stand is supposed to be a Marine version of the Valk. The guy also talked about it being used as a boarding craft for ship to ship stuff. He was talking about it ramming through the side of enemy ships so the two pronged pieces at the front pierce the hull, then doors at the ends fold down to let out the Marines.
The other nice thing they had was something called a F.A.V for the Elysians. It was a small, 6 wheeled jeep type thing. It's very nice indeed and I want lots... now please. Sadly he kept hiding it whenever cameras were around... I hope someone somewhere got a shot as all I got was hand.
There were also some interesting tank concept sketches from the Vraks books, but they got rejected at the time for not being DKOK enough. they hoped to go back at some point and look at them again for another regiment. One was kind of boxy with a pop up rocket pod on the back. Again, no pictures were allowed :(

Judging from the hamminess of those greens, I'd say yes. They aren't as slender and normal looking as other FW sculpts.

I love the look of the FAV but I can't help thinking A) that would be a great chassis for a Halftrack and B) I hope they sell those wheels separately so I can use them for scout car conversions. Although that is easily solved by buying one for A and using the spare wheels for B.

hmm, that FAV looks a whole lot like an M-20 made into a dune buggy. So if you want an up armored FAV, just go with this:

I'll second Blackadder's question. Anyone at GDUK have any idea what the deal is with the Tallarn greens? FW? GW? Any word what they're about?
It does occur to me, though, that they never had a Tallarn figure with a flamer back during the original release, so adding one with a couple of new lasgunners as a "collectors" blister might make sense...
Since they're true greens, they wouldn't look to be part of the work on a plastic kit.
And for a FW piece, that Lord of Change looks pretty mediocre. After the other GD's, I was hoping for more. Dragonforge's Vrock would look to be a heck of a lot nicer IMHO.

GW. Forgeworld has more realistic proportions, as you can see from their existing Tallarn range. I think they might just be test sculpts, but GW said they wanted to do all regiments in plastic.

To put the Tallern in context, they were surrounded by greens of models that have already been released AFAIK. I assumed they were just existing models, but then I doubt GW would store models from so long ago.
They were in the GW model production area, not FW.
Hardly any models were shown that had not been seen before I believe (including the ones in the FW newsletter), for those not entering golden daemon it would certainly not be worth going to now. The buggy and those tallarn things (it seems) are the only things.

New Tallarn from GW would be awesome. I've always liked the way that army looks. If it's from FW though then they can bite me. I'm not paying that much for guardsmen. Wish we could get more pics of stuff going on though.
