8 genestealers charged into my fire warrior squad. The Fire Warriors killed all of them, losing only 2 of their own.

5 guardsmen holding off 10 bezerkers and 5 chaos termies for 2 turns allowing me to move everything else far enough away to safely mince the chaos scum with lascannons without the risk of another assault!

For me probably when I lost all my plasma gunner's/ pistoler's in one turn

Doom of Malan'tai shooting at the rear armour of a Leman Russ punisher. At full strength. the template scatters back, blows the turret off the punisher, and kills the doom.

More recently, rolled a single d6, which knocks the head off my Warboss. The d6 flies up and hits me in the eye.

After crawling around on the floor with my hand over my eye looking for the die, I find it, discovering that my warboss failed his inv. save, losing his last wound.

Was actually hilarious. Laughed for a good fifteen minutes because of the wierd chain-reaction.

i had an opponents Doom cast whatever the power is that does D3 wounds to the doom.

the doom had 3 wounds left.

naturally he rolled a 3 for the power.

Had a 10 man guard squad get decimated down to the sarge who promptly ran to an inch from the table edge. Used my CCS to rally him and then charged him back at the orks who had just ripped his squad apart. Apparently he was pretty pissed because he was able to break the orks he charged. I'll admit they were already close to breaking but it brought a tear to my eye, I was so proud. He's now in charge of my Vet squad .

Four devs with missile launchers (and red thirst) charged Gazzy and killed him in CC. I danced in joy. Still lost the game though...

My friend and I playing against a third player... my friend's Chaos Dreadnought fires a plasma cannon at some scouts hiding in rocks which then scatters onto the Dreadnought and booms it... I then try to charge them with bikes which all fail their terrain tests...

Karrening trukk running into 2 squads of guardsmen killing about half in each squad

My Venerable dreadnought surviving a repeated beating by both a Daemon Prince and a Bloodthirster. Six rounds of combat before it died.

Every damage roll was a 3+ and I forced my opponent to re-roll them. All but one re-roll for the entire six rounds was a 1 or 2.

played an anialation game got wiped out except for one farseer. the farseer used eldritch storm to kill two leman russes an ogran squad and a valkrey until there was only a vendeta and basilisk left(which i was directly infront of so he couldnt shoot me). i almost made it but one lascannon shot from the vendeta. AWSOME LAST STAND

10 man Sternguard with Cassius (all the old TWV models) fired at an approaching unit of stealer, 20 ap4 shots plus cassius's flamer did one wound (from the flamer) which was saved, at which point I gave up hope of them surviving but in the following combat the stealers fluffed nearly all their to hit rolls and cass soaked up the one rending hit and the return attacks claimed all but one genestealer, the nid player was on the edge of a nervous breakdown

Just played a game where I was running a Speed Freak list against SM. I had two Battle wagons rolling up and one had a deffrolla that my opponent didn't like. He was worried about his Landraider getting rolled so he drop podded a sterngaurd vet squad led by a chaplain right behind both BWs. They popped out fo the pod and opened up on the BW with the rolla. Two meltas popped it and the 20 'Ard boys bailed out. On my turn, the 9 Burnas and big mek with Burna flame out from the other open topped BW. The template covered 6 vets giving me 60 hits.

I rolled pretty well getting a little over half. The vets did not have invuln saves and were toasted instantly. That left the remaining 23 hits for the Chaplain. My opponents just laughed as his first roll gave up four 1's.

Crispy Marines anyone?

A land raider full of tooled up Grey Knight Termies is speeding toward my Tau gunline. I smash the land raider right in front of my line with a rail gun. Concentrating fire, I kill all of them down to a man. The brother captain drops a 6 on his bionics, got up and proceeded to punish my entire army in hand to hand, one unit at a time.


In another game vs. DE, my tau were in hand to hand w/ the hero character when he had a drug OD and died. Fire warriors then smacked up, and ran down a unit of witches.

Getting shot at by 2 full squads of tau battlesuits with rapid firing plasma rifles. Bumped up to BS5 each with markerlights. Only one shot hit, and my opponent rolled a 1 to wound me.

Such a smug look crossed my face after that.

apoc game, 2 bassies, both scatter onto friendly allied marines, virtually wiping them out

My chaos marines where shot at by 4 lasscanons , 15 bolters , 6 storm bolters , 2 missiles , 2 hunter killers . All missded or failleded to wound , plus the amazing saves .

I had a friend who's termies fell to grot shooting....

It's hard to feel like a man after that, unless you're the grot and feeling like a man for the first time.

my squad of 10 gaurd vets with 2 grenade launchers and 1 flamer deep striking behind some dark eldar took out their transport with grenade launcher next turn taking out the archon and incubi in 1 turn of shooting

Towards the end of a game, I split my Emperor's Champion off from his squad to go after 5 kroot while the squad remained on an objective. I think it was turn 6. I was trying to keep them from getting to close to the objective and figured a full-up Emperor's Champion would be enough. He's got a 2+ armor save, after all. Even if I just tie them up, they can't contest my objective. I get the charge, swing 4 times and fail to hit or wound all four times.

The kroot inflict 2 wounds. I rolled snake eyes for my two saves. They consolidate close enough to contest my objective. Game ends at the end of turn 6. I went from up one objective to a draw. Suck.


EDIT: This is also where my friend's 'Kroot Win! Kroot Win!" chant and dance comes from. It's often used when a low-odds event occurrs.

I was playing a doubles match with my friend ben, and after every thing he did, I'd say "yeeah, ben." then we'd proceed to high-five. Totally threw off our opponents.

"I roll for 10 attacks with my dire avengers"
"yeeah, ben. *high-fives*"
"Scored 2 hits"
"Yeeah, ben. *high-fives*"
"Scored no wounds"
" Yeeah,ben. *High-fives*"

This just happened the other day!

2500 points of silly marines (devastators and scouts) against 2500 point ork horde.

First turn, I start firing into the nearest 30 strong boy squad, which is led by Ghazzgull. Each time I fire I'm doing about five wounds to the boy squad, so to get cocky, the Ork player throws a wound on Ghazz with a 2+ armor save each time. He fails his first three saves with Ghazz from random bolter fire by being cocky.

So at this point, he says "well, I'm obviously not putting any more wounds on Ghazz. Freaking ridiculous."

And then Telion fires a single rending shot. And Ghazzgull dies in the first turn of the freaking game. Still surrounded by 24 ork boyz.

five chaos terminators vs 1 devilfish, 2 firewarrior squads, 1 pathfinder squad with a rail rifle. terminator losses: 0 Tau losses: almost 100%
all the tau did during the games was die(also after a firewarriorsquad failed its moral test from a heavy flame that game them 50% losses they ran in the direction of the terminators right into assult range )

One of the first games I played against my friend he got my SM down to a single lascannon devastator and he was one necron away from phasing out.
I roll a 6 to hit.
Anything but a 1 and I win.
Of course I roll 1 and get assaulted by the nightbringer.

Similar thing happened a few games later, I was about to phase him out- I was in cc with th termies and just needed to kill 2 guys to phase him out. I get something like 5 hits and roll ALL ONES. I still ended up winning, but just barely.

Last game we played apoc and I had my valhallans supported by my imperial fists. I always insist on using a squad of mortars, just because I feel like someday they might actually hurt something. Anyway, I take aim at a warrior squad and naturally it scatters onto some allied termies. I figure no big deal, even if they get wounded he ALWAYS makes the 3+ saves, sm termies shouldnt have an issue.
2/5 fail their save AND get pinned. My jaw was on the floor along with my friend, who was rolling around laughing.
