The Thunderer looks excellent to me. As I thought painting it makes a lot of the problems go away. The Skitarii look excellent and really do fit the description. The Arvus is also very nice. It looks like a proper workhorse. I've always really liked them I nust admit.

It's a nice mini, quite often see this one on eBay. Genereally for silly prices, bide time and get it for less. This one cost me £8.

I really like the color schemes you have going on here! The old Necromunda models are awesome, I love the ones I have.

Not had anything to paint for a while then these three turned up in the same box!













I think the 'wire cutters' may have to go, looks a bit to much like a bug.

Very nice models you're doing, the guys with the hood are particularly cool

I really like them!

Decided to start on the engines before washes, mainly because due to these two flyers being in one piece;
the whole model will get a lot of handling to get all the layers on the engines and oil washes take forever to dry.

some nice work there, i really like your stuff.
I think the hoods made with GS look quality.

Cheers Scrazza. Real life has been slowing things down a bit, but managed to get these done:





One wounded pilot who will end up in some USAF tigerstripe kit, like the bloke on the left:
The other is the crew chief (love that head) who will be another excuse to try more MTP, like bloke on the right.



The other door gunner is the dead bloke (pair of Cadian boots,paperclip, Catachan arm and putty), think I'll change the gause for some PVA'd tissue or flat piece of GS.
The discarded helmet is part of the Valk piece. Also going to do a dead aircrew slumped in front seat.

Arvus slowly getting there; engines need finishing, whole thing needs a lot of paint chipping and weathering + cockpit/pilot/windows (already cut to fit).




Crashed Valk is at a similar stage:






This guy is just rammed into the chair at the mo, will twist to port a bit and get some shoulder straps and blood.

Good point, was thinking about making some thing out of mesh and styrene. Either that or some tie-downs.

@ Gerner: The bloke on the right was supposed to look a bit like USAF Tiger stripe



Sand coloured base coat, followed by a two tone blue pattern, leaving gaps with the base colour showing through. Came out looking more like Lizard pattern, but I like it.


Following a recent trip to Normandy and finding suitable plastic strut in a model shop, I messed around and made this:







It's not particularly accurate, used the mini to roughly gauge the size. Needs a bit more TLC

Great realistic work as always nice use of DKoK plus my favorite IG sceme around you must post a tutorial on how to do your camo ive been looking for a realistic looking one and its hard to find, also where are you getting all these realistic IG looking not GW vehicles i always look for some but never find

Feeling the urge to finish off some/all the half done stuff, starting with the BOAR, now with added mud:



Also to finish; Skitarii (ten man squad), lumpy tank, various terrain barricades, defense laser, load of Ad Mech in power armour, crashed Valk, a few INQ28 bods, skyshield landing pad, box full of CoD bits . . . . . . .

This camo sceme ive been trying to replicate with no sucess
