That Red/White square is in fact the Polish flag and consequently the Polish armed forces insignia - you probably saw it either on some Free Polish or some conscripted Panzergrenadiers Poles.

Since it seems like you are looking for a little criticism... i think some areas of the vendetta could stand a bit more weathering. airbrush a little black or use some crushed pastel/pigments in black and brown around the engine exhaust/intake and any other part that may be belching out smoke. i can see some dark weathering on the engine ends already and on the wing stabilizers, but i think you could go a little bit more, as long as you were using the correct technique (i.e. not brushing on acrylic paint) Also, a little bit of brown or umber oil paint on each rivet, and then use thinner (spirits if you used real oil paint or water if you bought water mixable oil paint) to streak the oil down the sides would look great. Since its obviously snowing constantly on this world, that means a lot of moisture is getting on the vehicle, that would lead to quite a bit of rust-staining and oil streaking.

I'm only offering these suggestions to slightly improve an already gorgeous and well painted model.

In terms of your infantry, they are just great. the frost technique is really working, and you don't have to worry about the grey being washed out as it seems all of the DKOK have that sash, which you have wisely painted a warm red. that breaks up the model and keeps it very interesting to look at.

Wow man, this is quite a thing you have going here. I really love the muted tones; they look very natural and real, as though your lads are out of an old war photo.

Here's a small request: can you write up a bit about what colors and mixing you use to achieve that effect? I have really wanted to try more muted and natural colors in my armies, but my palette skills are pretty limited, and I just don't know where to start. If you don't want to fill up your blog with it I would accept a PM, or a PM telling me to piss off
