Regardless, his account is not permanently banned on Dakka.

He read your post to me before deleting it. You said that he was useless, that Dakka was better off without him, and that his presence was going to drive readers away from Hulksmash's blog. And when he deleted it, you posted again screaming that he was supressing dissenting opinions.

No, he's merely now in control of his own articles now and the people who wish to troll him with flamebait. And you're still a troll.

I said that his presence was going to drive ME away from Brad's blog, which it has. There's no fabrication there. I don;t know what post he read to you but it wasn't mine. The word useless was never typed. I'm very sorry to tell you this but you were lied to. Although I guess its easy enough for him to try and change his story (common theme with him, eh?) after the fact, especially since nobody else can read the post.

I don't get your (and his) logic that anyone who disagrees with you is a troll. It's such self-victimization that it honestly renders me speechless.

I really hope Dash does come back, he was one of the very few sources of genuinely good advice here on Dakka.

So wait, your not allowed to defend yourself against that? Do you truly believe that if you felt that you had been slighted you wouldn't defend yourself? Crap, your doing it right now!

I think this whole situation is ridiculous. I don't care which one of you was right, or any of this. I DON"T CARE if people thought he cheated, or if words were bent, or any of that crap.

What I did enjoy was his battle reports, and as part of them I did think it was valuable to put the sportsmanship score, as I'm sure other people will attempt to duplicate his tactics (the legal ones) and will get similar reactions, which is important to know.

As far as tactics and content that he provided, it was much greater than 90% of the posters here on Dakka, and it was vetted and supported through battle reports and in tournament conditions. People might not agree with him, which is fine, but he was a contributor past posting comments on what other people have written. People may have disliked him while gaming, but shoot, I dislike my BEST friend sometimes when we play. The amount of grudge-bearing and grief within this circle of shame is ridiculous on both sides, and I thought Whineseer was bad.

I have seen much harsher posts than either side has listed as well, not result in banning. I don't know, this just befuddles me, and I wish a Mod would explain the exact details behind it.

Either way, folks should leave DoP alone since he can't defend himself and Dodiez shouldn't be forced to be his proxy.
