I've finished the build for both my would-be WAAAAGH DAKKA entries. So it looks like GS and paint may decide which gets to the finish line first. I was wondering, though, if there were any guidelines for the basing of Da Dirty Duzzen?

Mostly just dark gray with light gray highlights as stated in Waaagh Dakka. But you can always add extra bits if you want.

So its been a while since I have been promoting 'Da Durty Duzzen. But I am still want to see the squad come into full realization. We have some slots filled but we still have room for more. If your interested read up on the fluff and requirements for the squad. There is a little of each. As a reminder to everyone out there. Waaagh Dakka can still use your help to fill out the ranks.

I've had this done this far for about 2 weeks now but was to busy to post it.
Some quick WIP shots of my contribution/self portrait.

Yes I am a kilt wearing, sledgehammer wielding, warranty voiding maniac. And I listen to music a lot to.
I need to make a hammer head, my pot belly, and an MP3 player.
the red box thing is a set of screwdriver bits and the styrene thing shaped the same is a scale model using "eh that looks about right" math.

Potbelly? Looks like a sixpack to me. As much of that as is home made I am quite excited about this guy. On a side not, I love me a sledge hammer, too. They are so much fun!

I've started painting Lokun, finally. So expect an update from me pretty soon. I think Lokun will get finished first (as far as painting) but, atm he is keeping pace with the platform.

@ ChaoticMind - Love the direction your going with it. Gonna be bad @$$ when your done.

@ GG - Cant wait to see the finished product of Lokun.

To bad we cant get a group shot of them all when they are finished. Unless someone is really good with photoshop.

I might be able to. Send me a PM when the time comes (whether I'm in this group or not) and I'll see what I can do... as long as they are all on white back grounds it shouldn't be too hard.

Well this thread has been a bit quiet.

Time to fix that!

I have finished my Komando. He has been sitting on my desk for months now just waiting to be painted. I have been too lazy do so before now.
He was just one of these things I just had to get painted. I managed to convince myself to paint him by trying out a few new and different techniques. First off I primed him white instead of my usual black which I never do on any of my armies any more and have never done so with Orks, I also tried painting a different Ork skin tone differing from my normal one (I like this new one better) and finally I found a new way to make realistic looking gore (by far the most awesome thing I discovered while painting him). The gore is red gore mixed with PVA, Gloss Varnish and some fine modelling sand. I think it looks awesome.

Enough of me waffling on. Here he is.

Hope you all like him!

Time to Write some fluff.

I'm thinking his name should be 'Nobwort Snikgit'.
