For the gunners on top I think it's a brilliant idea! Although using sandbags in an armoured vehicle may look a bit strange...especially ones that can pivot o.0
I would suggest getting either plasticard or an ice-cream container lid and cutting it into a circle. Pin this onto the top of the tank and we have a pivoting gun platform! For the actual gunners, you could make a mini fortress around them with spare aegis defence line parts and have two of them kneeling with the gun mounted at the front and the second guy either helping him or shooting himself with a lasgun. If you don't have any aegis bits. You could just get plasticard and soup it up, making it defendable and imperal.
That's my 2cents!

Also, maybe just get a bit of plasticard to protect/cover his back. It'll neaten it up a bit and stop him from being devoured by mandrakes...well maybe not, just prolong the process...

yes i agree especially with two heavy bolters multilasers and missles when you outflank witha squad of storm troopers who has first time shooting (not to be confused with first turn shooting) all weapons count as pinning even flamers

needs a bit of touch on where the reds spilt over but thats okay i only need to paint black over it, tomorrow if im not busy i shall work on the face :S

about Chimaera bronze barrel multilaser

what colour do you paint it? do you use GW ones?
- if so, do you use Shining Gold? (again! Thai grognards said that it gaves a better bronze effect than either brazen brass or dwarf bronze)
- if not which brand of colour do you use and its product name

The Chimeras turrent is just two medium layers of shining gold, once that is dry, i gave it above 2 really thick coats of the devlan mud wash !!! it is brilliant, and then a really thing one just to go in the recesses, simple, and thanks for tanking a interest in it ....hehehe see the pun thanks

I really like the look! Although you may want to rotate the flat parts of the bipod 90 degrees. Just a thought.

yeah i think the idea is right but the bipods as is look too flat...maybe add some "feet to them so that they are not too easyly spoted as just plasticcard bitz...personaly i would have used round plastic rods...with feet^^

the commissar is looking good already and much depends on the face i think... so i will say how and what about him when you added skin^^

work goes slow on the vostroyan front, ive finished painting the first four, now i only have 6 left, i have a day of gaming coming up so i can finnally put my vostroyans on the front line , by tomorrow when i find my cable i shall post up my photos of the " Grey Lady" basilisk platform
