That's...kinda interesting.
"Tanglewire" is supposedly something of Eldar design.

When they did the new version of fantasy the collectors rulebook was the same content as the regular rulebook but it was on tick fancy paper and the cover was different.
search google images for "warhammer collectors rulebook" and you'll see
They also made it so limited that really the only way to get it was to order it from GW the day it was announced, so I missed out.
If they do the same for 40K, this is prolly what I'll get for leaving on the shelf, and I'll get a mini rulebook from the starter set later on for gaming.
I'm hoping they also start doing future codexes in full color hardback too, like fantasy. My wallet won't like it, but still...

A Drazhar I'm dying to see what he looks like.
And are the monster packs sets of 3 or 5 or something?

I forgot about that!
I don't know why, but I confused the Gamers Edition with it.

This upsets me more then anything. The thought that they are not making a Plastic kit when these are so out dated, then that price. I didn't want to pay $20.00 for a metal one, they expect me to pay $22.25 for a resin one. Oh GW you make me laug

Don't get too excited. From how it looks, they're going to be Finecast ports of the current metals.

Like Necros said the Gamer's Edition came with a carrying case, templates, some faux bone dice, and counters.
The Collector's Edition was just a big box with the rulebook in faux leather and binding.

The Gamers Edition has the Rulebook, a Dice Set, and a Satchel to carry them in. You can also probably fit your codex, army list(s), templates and markers in it as well. The Collectors Edition is just a really fancy version of the rulebook. It could be a limited printing run with each copy numbered.

Sounds like miniature barbed wire you can use on terrain pieces for your games and for dioramas to me. It's probably made from brass or some other material that will cut up your fingers if you're not careful with it.

I honestly hope they aren't giving us the current Drazhar and calling it a day. I was hoping for a new model... The beasts I thought were already fine cast, but if not, my bad.

What does the rulebook being hardcover have to do with the codices?
The rulebooks have been hardcover for two editions now.
There have been hardback rulebooks for 40k since Rogue Trader, but my comment was aimed at Zanthras and his point regarding a full range of models for a codex in 9 months.

Considering the Hive Tyrant was only in Finecast for a couple months before a plastic one was released, we might see plastic ones before too long.

I don't know why there haven't been any yet for 40k. The Fantasy ones are awesome, and if there were similar 40k ones I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Clearly the "buy terrain for points" concept of the pancake edition survived and is in the final rules. So Eldar players need to get some tanglewire to purchase for their terrain options!

I also wonder why they haven't done them for 40k. I don't play fantasy at all, but aren't their HQs just as customizable as the 40k HQ's are? It's not like the fantasy ones portray special characters either.
If they made a plastic drazhar with an extra arm and helm to make it into an incubi I'd buy 20 of them right off the bat. Absolutely refuse to buy finecast incubi because of how terrible the swords turn out.

The second column is Canadian prices. The Meganobz are $22.25. Still a jump but not as much. Still hoping for some plastic Meganobzs someday.
