When I saw the price for Orikan and Anrakyr, I inadvertently shouted "HOLY .... out loud. They need to put consumer warnings on that stuff. Like, "warning, may give you temporary tourette's."
I'll probably still pay that, and supply and demand says they'll sell it, but It's the first time I've ever done that, and I've been playing 40k for almost 12 years now.
At least I only have to buy them once each.

If it makes you feel better I have spoken to someone who has seen the new models and apparently the anraky model is really awesome and much better than the past necron special chars. Along with that he said hte new chaos flyer is ridiculously badass, it essentially looks like a Balrog with platemail and lava coming out of the cracks of the armor. Along with autocannons strapped onto it

I am, I have never ever posted a "rumor" before so I have no credence, but it is what I was told by a guy who has seen the rule-book and the next models due to a family connection. I understand if you all think I am making stuff up though!
But personally, I hope its true, as a massive dragon with autocannons strapped to wings sounds pretty kickass, even though it sounds very fantasy like.

Interesting. Of course, NaCl applied, but there is another rumored flyer wave coming, as early as August, if I recall correctly...any word on other flyers, or is the "DakkaDragon" the only one you heard of.

If someone said "chaos is getting an armored crab vehicle, and it's all daemonic", i'd say "that's crap". Now when that turns into the defiler, I would be impressed. Also happy I was picturing it wrong.
When they say "armored dragon" or "balrog with autocannons" I think "that's crap". So I hope it's nothing like what i'm thinking.
I have faith in GW to make it into an amazing quality model. They've been doing some amazing things lately in that category.

For all the Tau players who haven't spotted it; the kroot hounds are now in a box of four instead of a two model blister. If that's true then they've actually had a price drop. Current GBP8.70 for the blister, which is about $16?

Or more likely a conventional type craft with demon/chaos reason for having a balrog like cracked/lava effect armour.
Sounds interesting, I just hope it's not a chaosified Chibi hawk rendition.

Some people claim that Flamers of Tzeentch (Finecast) will be removed from what retail can order (still on June list, mailorder lists them as available in 1-2 weeks).

The Gamers Edition has the Rulebook, a Dice Set, and a Satchel to carry them in. You can also probably fit your codex, army list(s), templates and markers in it as well. The Collectors Edition is just a really fancy version of the rulebook. It could be a limited printing run with each copy numbered.

is, any ideas?
Sounds like miniature barbed wire you can use on terrain pieces for your games and for dioramas to me. It's probably made from brass or some other material that will cut up your fingers if you're not careful with it.
Straight from this month's WD "A thin wire that entwines the entire length of the main coil, providing the tanglewire with a barbed look that is completely safe to touch."
Use it for tank traps, other scenery, or as a piece of debris.

Can't decide if it is a good or bad idea by GW, but Tau suits are now a purchase an XV8 and purchase an upgrade sprue for the commander or broadside. I am surprised the approach was not taken with Marines.
Could be the Tau are a test run of the idea or GW does not want to sell Plastic+Resin kits.

Well they get to sneakily raise the price. Previously a Broadside cost you £18.50. Now it'll cost you £24.50 (£15.50 for the Crisis kit and then another £9.00 for the XV88 upgrade kit) and you won't get anything extra which you didn't already get before. Boo, price rise!

Older rumors have claimed that a new Tau model line is ready for production, so these upgrade sprues might be a stopgap between model styles. If the crisis suit is getting an overhaul, we may be seeing new base models.
I'm sad that some of the tau codex rumors were admitted fabrications, but if Reecius is right and Forgeworld is going mainstream, then we can look forward to, if not new rules, then at least some great new models for an army in desperate need of a cosmetic overhaul.
