That megadread is amazing. I am also very impressed with the little alterations to the CCW on the deffdreads.

@ OverwatchCNC I'm glad you think that make's me feel good that's for sure, But I think that there are others here as well that have wonderful looking Orks as well. Git and Selvaggio's are right there too I think. And I would love to play w/ or agenst ya if I get the chance. In Spain atm but will be heading back to the states in about a year and a half...aiming for the west coast though. (Seattle area) Got to love moving around in the military life.

@ SelvaggioSaky I would love to, hard to get away from the family though. Not sure if you are military though...if so then ya never know.

@ MeanGreenStompa Thanks a lot I think he's my favorite conversion. I did the CCW on the deffdreads like that because I think the model looks really well made and give a real 3D look but the CCW's on it was lacking...almost 2D it's the little things that bring some stuff out I think.... As for the Ork in the turret I assum that you mean the main turret of the Battle wagon from the Battle Fortress... I got him from the Fourge World Stompa Head as seen in this pic

Well that's it for now I got some detail work done on my Stompa hope to finish it soon... But I did just get my weathering powders in so I might take a crack on that...but I think I'd need some practice before I put any on the stompa...So not sure when I'll post the pic's on that..

Well there might be a little bit more than just detail work being done...

Pure crazyness! Love the job on the stompa. Nice blending on the claws and eye. I think you're right... a couple of panels, especially on the sides of something other than red might break it up nicely. Not too much, just one here or there.

That battle fortress and mega dred are some of the most fantastically insane conversions I've ever seen and the attention to detail on everything is just brilliant. Awesome work buddy, my hat is well and truly off to you

@ Gitsplitta Thanks I'm glad ya like the blending, and yes I didn't want to change it to much just a little to break up so much red.

@ KIXY I'm glad you like them. It's the detail that really make a model stand out, that's what I'm aiming for anyway. Though...it can be a huge pain in the if ya know what I mean.

Well I am getting closer to the finish just got the shoulder's to finish... I might save that for another time though (next week sometime?) until then I leave you with these.

Some note's

1) I didn't like how the head has a weapon...but couldn't look at the ground, I fixed that. Oh wait!! it's magnetized (so it can look up or down and stay there)

2) The back little working platform was just that...little. I made one that is a bit bigger, looks better, and has a gun (better now)...Oh wait and it's magnetized too

@the large icon ...WTF is that thing they give you...looks like some sad pigs mom.. I changed it to be more propa ork like

Okay so small update, I have been working on my biker Boss (Zhadsnark) and 6 Biker Nobs for a small comp.

In order to keep myself entertained I've been shifting back and fourth between the squiggoth and a Mk-1 land raider. It's the LR's turn to get a little love, but I'll be back to squiggy in just a bit.

Are the regular bikers on shorter-than-normal bases?

Nice job on the bunch, very attractive as a unit.

naw they are on the normal sized bike bases, I moved them more forward to balance the look of them with the exhaust effect though.

I'll put some pics of them next to the normal Bikers for comparison tomorrow.

Some great conversion work on here and some very nice painting. Keep up the good work and inspiration!

Ooooh! I love the warthog (A-10 "tank killer) wish you put a big rotary gun under the nose (or is that long bit under the nose a gun?)
It looks even better as a "stubby" version.
