Wow, looks great! I love the level of detail you've put into the building, it certainly adds to the awesomeness of it now it's being painted.

The reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated. I am still alive, and progress has been made.

With the holidays comming, famliy stuff happening and such my time to work on this has decreased some, but I still manage some time here and there.

What there were no reports of my demise? Hmm oh well.

I still have much to do The back half still needs some extra checks and dagers here and there... and some detail work

I started the weathering...just the begining as of now still much to do. But the basics are done for the most part and you can get a feel for a finished project in the working now.

Well as much as I would like to shock and awe you all on a major update and be able to call this big bad boy complete.

Well I can not.

At least for a little bit, work is getting the better of me as I’m currently studding for another warfare pin. I should have the test complete next week and then might get a little time before my boards but probably not. So I wouldn’t expect any thing new until the end of the month, but ya never know I may get a little time here and there (all study and no play makes for a boring day).

Well I still have yet to take my test so I still have yet to finish the weathering and detail work on the Battlefortress....


But what I did do is start another project...

and it begins... something simple this time a Trukk =)









Just realized I had the same pic in twice....

don't plan on progress on tis to quick or soon though, as I said I have yet to take my test...got to get off my lazy ars and do that

I have a bit of a update on my Trukk. I am taking my time on this one but it is coming along pretty easy, and fast so far, mainly due to the fact that it's not completely my creation. (borrowing the Idea from Tokkutai) Anyway on with the progress.

That's big enough to be a battle wagon, isn't it??

Really like where you're going with this. Half-track has always been a fantastic look for the orks.

Well I have not been hiding under any rocks as of late though some may have thought as much.

The finishing touches have yet to be well finished on the battlefortress.

The build has been finished on my new trukk though.

And since I didn't want to just set it aside with the rest of my trukks that need some lovin I desided to give em all some lovin!

Well As Gitz has said I have been busy... pretty busy all year really now that I look back on it all. And as many has done I shall have a quick review of my year with you all.

@ Gitsplitta I'll be waiting patiently... Kind of want to get me one myself...but don't like the price tag w/ em. Got other things on my plate to buy first.

@ Dr H Thanks I like it to and the metal does break it up nicely I think too. But on this one I can't take the credit. Pretty much all of it is from Tokkutai He did it all first. I liked it so I made it but his paint scheme is so close to mine that it kind of just worked out

That being said. Of course no mek can make the same thing twice and mine is a bit different in it's own right

So with that a bit of a update on it... One thing I noticed is that I had the Flakk mount on backwards oops But that's easily fixed, and it needed some crew So here it is...just weathering left to do...waiting on that though.







I plan on doing a bunch of weathering on all them soon...probably after my mothers visit is over.

I did make some progress on the other 2 trukks but I must sat they seem harder to paint being so well cookie cutter trukks it's harder to make em stand out without over doing it and easy to under cut it too...just trying to find the balance I guess.

I got the frount end done on the MK 3...but not sure what to do about the flatbed yet...





just to much open space to posably screw up by over doing anything... (pic taken before the frount end was done.)



And the same goes for the MK4 Trukk I think I have just a little more to do w/ the bed but not much.











I'm open to suggestions on these two if anyone has any.

And for the last one My Big Trakk Well I got it all ready crew and all...w/ the exception of the weathering of course.

Yeah boot prints! I remember seeing little grot hand prints on a squiggoth in WD one time, pretty cool but I've never pulled it off. Looking good!

I think that adding a large glif on the bed of the truck would make it stand out and personalize it. Each squad could have painted their personal glif to mark the truck as owned. You could go wild with w/e symbol you wanted to put on it (same with colors) and you could continue it onto your infantry squads when you do them.

After not visiting this for goodness knows how long I come back and EVERYTHING has happened all the orkness, definite inspiration for the next trukk and dakka jet I need to add to my army
