That sounds suspiciously high-tech, Brother Frozen. Are you sure you're not some kind of Tech-Priest? [checks pilot light on flamer]

Also, I'm thinking there should be a option for an Avenger Bolt Cannon (36" S:6 AP 3 Heavy 7) as an artillery piece, especially now the Exorcist alternative ammo doesn't include a multiple-MEQ massacre mechanism. I'd thought the ABC's range was too short for static arty, but the Eldar seem to be willing to deploy 24" D-cannon....

Well, if you check out Sister Sydney's homebrew/expansion rules, you'll find all kinds of units the Sisters could have, that fit with the theme of the Sisters (as a tabletop army) perfectly well, and are damn-near-perfectly balanced.

I’m updating that fandex now & I’m eager for feedback on new home-brew units for the Sisters: Sororitas Bikers, infiltrators & Novices, tanks, flyers, characters, superheavies, Frateris Militia, and now Confessors and Battle Conclave characters

While the Mechanicus border on heresy, they're still necessary, even to the Sisters of Battle!

There are already Ecclesiarchal Servitors (at least in Soulstorm), and Servitors in general perfectly embody a "penance through death/service" theme. A turret-Servitor wouldn't be any more advanced than a regular one, it'd just have no legs and more ammunition capacity.

Meanwhile, any amount of extra bolt cannon is something I very much desire, as megabolters are my absolute favourite weapon. As for range, the Imperium thinks that 36'' is sniping range, so...

Forgot to do the Avenger Bolt Cannon as an alternative for the artillery: By my spoilered calculations, it should cost just 75 points per gun with two crew, so that should actually be the default option from which the Exorcist is a 15-point upgrade.

Spoiler:

Avenger : 36" S:6 AP:3 Heavy 7
Exorcist: 48" S:8 AP:1 Heady 1d6 (=3.5 on average)

So the Avenger loses 12" of range (-10 points?), 2 Strength (-20?), and 2 AP (-20?), but gains 3.5 shots (+35?).
35 - 50 = -15, so a naked Avenger Bolt Cannon is 15 points cheaper than a naked Exorcist Missile Launcher. Taking Ovion's figure for the EML, that's 65 - 15 = 50.
Add two Retributors for crew: +24
24+50 = 74, rounding up to 75 points for sanity.

Well, Arco-flaggelants are essentially a kind of servitor, so something like that perhaps?

Now that's a scary thought.... Arcos are berserk, so you'd need something different on a gun, but I could see being made an ammo servitor or similar as a punishment for lesser sins.

For those who've been following this thread, I'm now trying to come up with a Sororitas formation built around the Artillery plus Fortifications and Retributors -- and I'm having a helluva time balancing it, so comment & critique would be immensely welcome.
