Looking forward to seeing that goblin squished under it. I thought of ordering that just for the challenge, but decided a different route which I’ll pick up in the morning.

its been a bit since ive entered and finished painting my choosen models by months end.. everything ive entered before has been painted.. this weekend my gf found some kits at a garage sale..

ive inherited my friends vostroyan guard in the past couple years.. he does not have much in the way of vehicles, just a hellhound and a basilisk and a whole bunch of mortars and a few score guardsmen. he wanted the wyvern as opposed to the hydra to protect the pair of basilisks. with the goal for me is to match his paint scheme.

the 5th company of my chapter needs one more Rhino to be fully mobile. and sammy of course to lead up the portion of the Ravenwing under my watch.

I am entering the lot atm... and will either submit them all or the one I like the best as half of them are only slightly related..

Proof pic. I'm going to be working on all of them simultaneously so whichever one gets finished first (more than likely the Deredeo as it's my favorite Dreadnought design) will be what I submit.

And after my first airbrush pass this weekend. I'm halfway through (re 4 Dreads (Deredeo, Redemptor, 2x Boxnauts), not counting the Death Company one (because he's already black)) painting all the non-yellow parts black before I revisit for my second airbursh pass (trying my hand at a faster Angel Giraldez style painting before I start my brushwork).

Wow, I've never seen all the Dreads lined up like that before! That Redemptor is massive! Also ambitious project DV8, looking forward to seeing these finished!

Do you mind if I save this pic for size comparison purposes?

Well I picked up my entry yesterday.

Thundrik’s Profiteers for WarhammerUnderworlds.

Go for it.

Yea I was pretty surprised at how big the Redemptor actually is, given that it's stats are much worse than the Leviathan's (lower T, worse Save, no Inv, less W). I guess they don't make them like they used to. The Deredeo (still my fav) looks chunky as always, and the Boxnauts look miniscule in comparison. I'm not a huge fan of Contemptors, but the BA ones from Forgeworld look very nice with the filigree and raised detailing (although I filed off all IV's since I'm not doing the 4th Legion).

And refuse to love the Spinosaurus because it is a hamfisted attempt at taking what you loved, making it TREX +++ and trying to sell you it.

Thanks! The tournament is end of September, but with the school term starting in a month, I want to try and make as much progress on these guys this month as possible. I won't be completing them all for this challenge, but I'm hoping to get them all to a reasonably good state in a few weeks!

Progress:

Took forever to just black out all the parts, and I ended up getting sloppy because I realize I'm going to have to repaint parts of the yellow armor anyways.

just an update, as my leadbelcher, abadon and Balthazar all are empty.. I got the hull colored. I very much enjoy the "cold white" colors on the hull of this one. I will not be able to replicate my friends colors. his vehicles all have a thick enough coating of paint that they gain a +1save bonus..
I no longer can do that trying.. he also didnt wash or shade anything.. just black, white, and grey stripes..

Thank you for the nice comment Stormatious.

Going to be twice as many Sister's of Battle tanks in my entry as I have decided to add a Rhino.

Here they are together before I tackle the Rhino painting and prior to adding some bling to my Repressor.

Things I did to make the Rhino conversion (which were really simple) are up on my Sister's Painting Log.

CB

Old school Tikay Fortooun.

So the Repressor/Suppressor is finished

Here she is with seals added (and a few icons as well).

Now do I finish the Rhino and add her to my entry?

They both have tracks and track wheels.

Cheers,

CB
