That is one of my favorite White Dwarfs they've done.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Love it.

I already have an Arkonaut Admiral slightly converted to run as a Squat Enginseer. This one will take no conversion at all!

Ooh, man, if I hadn't just finished the last 40k white dwarf, this would be a much easier decision...

...torn between keeping him as his goofy self with the gretchin, or converting him up a little to match my Carpathian Tin Ghosts Admech force... Maybe I'll whip off that mohawk and add a greenstuff cowl, and do something about that cheery mouth...

It's also a perfect miniature to use as a Lathesmaster, which is one of the characters you can play in the 40K RPG Dark Heresy.

'Cause Lathemasters are totally not Squats. Nu-uh. Not at all. Honest.

He's not getting rules. Intended as a display piece - nothing stopping you using him as a counts-as though.

That's a pity. It wouldn't have been too much work to add some fun rules for him and the gobbo. Pluss he is totally different proportions to regular tech priests.

I would grab him just to have another squat. The min is nice. The problem three days to grab him. That won't happen with my work schedule. GW should have used a better marketing tool for him. It's a shame they are using it for bait to get people into their stores.

So would this be playable as an admech or imperial engenseer? Does it have rules compatible? (Or would it be a legal proxy for one?)

wait, are you telling us that normal Squats or techpriests are not ugly???

I'd venture to say that that's the best looking squat/techpriest they've ever made.

I have no use for it, don’t like the look of it either, but glad others find it fun.

I just don’t want to hear any excuses aboutv or having production time available for other items from GW. If you have time to make this then we shouldn’t be without core units/options.

That's what I plan to use mine for. I need a second Engineseer for my Rusty17 and this guy is hilarious.

I don't need it. But I do want it.

From what I was told, these will be available to order if stores run out of physical models.

Not sure how that helps if you still have to get to the store to order it...

Didn't say it did. The violin is separate from the other.

I have zero sympathy for anyone who thinks it's "bait". Mad Doc's lootgroup is well known at this point as a thing.

Random thought - I just realised that this next year we all need to nominate Mad Doc for the "Warhammer Heroes" thing for running the loot group (now that would get it some major marketing signal boost too!)
