...or I can drop a Tau Manta Missile Destroyer on the board and blow up your Crassus Armoured Assault Transport.

You can try but the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT will simply deploy Boromir.

Then he'll face 16 long-barrelled burst cannons, 6 ion cannons, two heavy railguns, 2 missile pods and an array of (6?) seeker missiles.

Plus the up-to 188 FW it can carry.

Or the up-to 50 something XV8s it can carry.

Or the up-to 6 tanks it can carry, in addition to 48 FW.

Plus drones, SS, and whatever else you can dream up.

Boromir has a trebuchet that fires hobbits...

There were some combinations in the armybook that were horrendously underpriced for what they did (mostly revolving around Nurgle daemons). It was bad enough that after its release, you'd see easily over half of the top placements in tournaments be held by daemons (for example at a DragonCon tournament a few years ago, daemons held the top 3 and a total of 9 out of the top 16 slots), with the remaining fraction split between Dark Elves, Vampires and everyone else.

Striking in initiative, stepping up, steadfast, and the changes to Fear have all taken a lot of the wind out of their sails, in that they are now in the middle of the top tier, rather than being a tier of their own.

Missed the part where I said I was partly responsible and called myself a fanboi did yah? Thanks for calling me a moron, not that I've ever insulted you ever, and if I'm in a minority, how are my apparent misconceptions "common"?

Common in that all the people who have bought into the Matt-Wardiness have Mary-sued the GK in their minds so thoroughly that it surpasses even the term `Fanboi`.

I'm sure this has been very informative for everyone. If not perhaps in the way people intended.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
