No, if you're not losing half your games then you need to be playing tougher opponents.

Its the world telling you not to call yourself a master at something that (even with all the briliant tactics and units) comes down to luck.

Sometimes luck doesn't work your way. For instance, I placed about halfway in the list at 'ard boys qualifiers, but I massacred the guy who was either the 2nd or 3rd place finisher. I don't know if I played well or if he had a bad game.

"Mastering" 40k is your brain getting ahead of itself and being all self-congratulatory. I doubt anyone is considered to have mastered it.

You can't master a game of luck (without cheating of course) I've seen players that have won 1st place in tournaments on a regular basis have their dice abandon them during a random game or even a tournament.

EVERYONE can be a master of 40k, and the the essence of 40k is sportsmanship.Play tough, play fair, have fun, be tolerent, and don't be a sore loser. There, if you have reached these requirements, I think it's quite appropriate to call yourself a master.

1500pt O'Vesa Star W: 27 D: 2 L: 1
The challenge: in a 1500pt game I will play 900pt + D6x100 pts, if I roll a 6 I reroll and -100 to that second number (down to 1000pt minimum)

Nope. I suck, but I am a-okay with being a work-in-progress.

It's the British spelling of "couple".

I think I see what your problem is; you should only play with one warhammer at a time.

No.

Also, if you need to tailor your list to beat DoM, as well as needing a tactica. You are not a master of warhammer.

Anyone can be a master of warhammer, but the real trick is in mastering vouples of warhammers.

You can never master a game based on the roll of the dice.
