Hi there, i'm pretty much new in absolutely every way.
im just starting WH40K. the main reason im getting into it is because of doing conversions. i have many ideas and such and want to try them out.
so far, ive picked CSM as my army.
i just have two questions, while its on my mind
first, where would be the best Other game(warmachine, at-43, etc.) to take other miniatures from to make chaos conversions?
secondly, is there any good place to look online for the lore and story of Warhammer 40K? i would love to learn more about the chaos gods and stuff, but can only find limited amounts of imformation that i already knew.

Welcome! I have to say i reccomend the horus heresy books. I hate to plug official products but they are excellent for getting you into the 40k lore, espescially regarding chaos.
