Oh and the real weird looking six-pack... I'm assuming that could just be down to the painting style.

Still, y'all could pretend the one on the right was a Sister of Battle...

I think that those slaves could have only been sculpted by a man who had never before seen a woman's body.

The one on the right is a SoB. Originally they come with the Asdrubael Vect set. On his Dais, there are a row of spikes and one is missing. The SoB model is holding a spike in her chained hands. The painting is what's so horrible about these two models.

The one on the left looks like Marylin Monroe gone horribly wrong. Horribly, horribly wrong. Going to second that the sculpter has never seen a woman before, or is blind.

The slave girls are really not that bad. I'm not the best painter in the world, but I've used both those models in my Slannesh army and they really don't look bad with a better paint job.

The ones in the examples have gone too far into the detailing catagory. Useing some softer shading and thinner lines help the girls to not look bad at all.

Could the nipples on the one on the left be a little more pronounced? Just sayin', it must be a bit chilly where ever she is

You can see it's because of too much toning... but there are some recesses that really just shouldn't be there...

and you would be right sir, ask any GW sculpter if he has seen 'insert movie, book, person game anything here ' and he will deneigh ever seeing or even knowing that ''insert movie, book, person, game anything here ' ever existed. apperently they are raised in creshes deep under the domain of JJ's house, and never see the light of day (or women).

Probably would have been better off ordering some of Hasslefrees stuff for that purpose. If only because they look far better.

Maybe, but this was 7ish yrs ago. GW bitz order was still in production and since it was a tournament army I wanted to use exclusively GW models. So I went with the best of what I could use.

I LOVE that model.

Seriously, he has a board with a nail in it in one hand, and a laser gun in the other. What's not to like?

Agree with Melissa... the painting, also, in adition to parts of the models are fugly... and I feel the nipple one should have tassles...

That actually might be appropriate. Keep in mind that these are slaves put on display onboard Vect's personal craft. He's going to make sure that the slaves he's showing off don't look "ordinary". Assuming that Dark Eldar admire the same physical traits that humans do, a large rack on the females is - for once - appropriate. As is a bra that encourages the display of nipples.

The paint job is awful, though. And I have to wonder about the eyebrows. I don't remember noticing them on this pair before.

On a side note, there was apparently also a very limited release of these two ladies without the bras.

While FAngir's eyes are weird, the rest of the model is as good as you could expect for a thunderwolf cavalry model.

These are actually nicely sculpted figures, the painting just isn't doing them justice at all. They just don't have muscles that pronounced and the contrast used on them to achieve that effect isn't appropriate...on almost any figure - real people don't have dark lines around their muscles. The eyebrows are finer on the actual model so why they have been painted the way they have makes no sense.
