Shave off the mohawk, give him a few more teeth, remove the gigantic Flava Flav Inquisition bling, get rid of the eyeshadow, have him holding something more menacing than a large stick, and MAYBE that model will look anything other than completely ridiculous.

Right, you've got to separate ugly in a good way from ugly in a bad way.
For example, GW has made some Nurgle models that are VERY ugly, but ugly in a good way.
They have also made some models that are just really poorly done, and they really shouldnt be selling any of them anymore (some of which they don't).

I believe those slaves were painted by the same Eavy Metal painter as the new Minotaur models. WAY over accented musculature makes good models look horrible. They should fire the painter, not the sculptor.
I second the one about the original Lemartes and his TV antenna crozius. HORRIBLE model.

Ok, now I MUST know, are there any pictures of him? I have tried a google serch, but it did not turn up anything other than this edition and last edition models. With so many people who hate it, I have to see how bad it is.

The last edition model was the original one. One of a handful of models done by Mike McVey when he decided he wanted to try his hand at sculpting during his last couple of years with GW, along with some fairly awkward (and surprisingly young) Space Wolf Scouts.

The one and only Krootox model. It looks somewhat decent. But seeing multiple units of it, in the SAME constipated looking pose with only two facial expressions, is quite aggravating.

he is not as bad as I would imagine him to be, his head is weird and he looks somewhat small, but I do not think he diserves ugliest model status.
Edit:
after loooking at it a little more, for some reasom he looks like a little kid in power armor. Its something about the face, and how the jump pack and the staff makes him look little
