Well some one there can, ever see any of the Esher gangers from Necromunda?

I stand corrected. Those are actually quite nice.

I guess I am just not a fan of the SoB or the aforementioned Slave "Girls" but these are quite well done.

Yep, Jes does some great work.

Hacking up the hair is tantamount to heresy, though.

Jes' 1st gen Banshees are also quite good, especially considering how long ago they were sculpted. And the Juan Diaz' Daemonettes are very feminine.

The basic Sisters are very good, aside from the bowl cut hair, while the Slaves merely need their eyebrows waxed.

Yeah, I loled at work, which I'm not supposed to do. It's like, everyone else is furiously charging and that guy's like "Where the hell am I? How come I'm not wearing any clothes?"

Also, that blue scorpocorn is pretty awful too. I love these roughs everyone's finding in the diamonds.

It's an autogun, so basically a future M-16, in space.

Harry over at warseer got someone ( I can't remember his name unfortunatly) to sculpt a new face for old Nagash, and it changes the whole look of it, he looks quite menacing now. It looks more like that art work.

That's not a "M-16". It's an Autogun / Stubber slug-thrower. In Necromunda, they use such things, as Las-weapons are rarer and more expensive.

Actually Lasguns are just as easy to find they're just more reliable and expensive. Autoguns are coller and comparing autopistol to laspistol, easier to hit with.

My opinion on worst model has to be anything Nugle. I am just not a fan.

While I stand by you on many things, having recently painted the SoB army, I found that many of the 'basic' sculpts were absolute rubbish.

2-part moulds does not make a nice mini.

Neither to details that blend into the body, rather than hold their shape, simply because its easier for the casting process.

If/when GW does a multi-part SoB force, I look forward to some decent minis.

(WiP painting)

I assume you're nitpicking over the scopes and other casting "fillers"?

Or is it something else?

I like these models. They're well-posed and purposeful. Not like a Van Carstein in a typical Morley "Y" pose.

If/when multi-part Sisters come out, I wouldn't mind getting more to bulk out my army. Heck, I could almost see myself trading new plastic for used metal.

Yes 'fillers' is the most appropriate term...

Gernades and utility belts aside, the Sis Superior in the pic you posted is the mini I despise the most. Look at her robes at the back, arms, legs... actually, look at the chunky, blocky robes that seem to be more filler than anything else. Since you raised the 'Y' pose... Saint Celestine anyone?

These models really aren't that bad, just GW did really bad highlights making them masculine. I use them as objective counters.

Seriously, he has a board with a nail in it in one hand, and a laser gun in the other. What's not to like?

While the slaanesh horse thingy is very ugly, isn't slaanesh supposed to be about perverse things that only seem beautiful while under Sl's power? Showing moral decadence? Besides, if 3 of those things (roughly 10 feet tall) were charging my line, I'd gak myself. They are kind of creepy/scary, especially when you wonder how they'd look fighting.

No. That's a cop-out that can and has been used to excuse any old rubbish. "Of course the daemonettes have ugly faces, have only one (covered) breast and ride their Steeds of Slaanesh like dead fish, you're not under the influence of their Slaaneshi magic!"

To me, the ideal for a Slaanesh daemon is something that may or may not be attractive, but looks as if something, somewhere thought it would be, like a divine example of bad market research.

"For some reason, the humans keep running away from the Steed of Slaanesh. What are we doing wrong?"
"Humans like boobs, right? They made the daemonettes more popular. And more boobs means more to like!"
"Brilliant idea!"
