The 3 Gun battery! And my parents just dropped off Imperial Armour Model Masterclass!!
She's always been accepting of the hobby. She knew I used to be into it a long time ago and was totally fine when I got back into it. She's even picked up a few Chaos Daemons herself. She starting up a Slaanesh army!

I got the model masterclass last year, beautiful book, and completely invaluable!

You have a real catch there! Keep up the awesome work, and tell the fiancee thank you for giving me more stuff to drool over!!

I shall look forward to seeing you use some of the techniques shown in the masterclass, I find that the instructions they give are very clear and the images very detailed.

Now I want some thud guns!!

Yeah, me too. I would have an IG army of them if they were cheaper. I really like that Commissar model but the model on eBay was 60 pounds! That's the same as a FW LR (the GK Redeemer at least).

@Snarky, yep, noticed that also. My Fiancee ordered these about a month ago and when we logged onto FW today as you said they are no longer listed.... wierd indeed. Don't know if its something to do with the VAT increase and they are repricing or done away with the triple deal? So glad she grabbed em'!

Yeah, I was planning on ordering the Medusa w/crew, and lo and behold... wasn't there.

I also noticed that they stopped free shipping over £150 too.

At work and STILL feeling crappy! Never had anything like this... and its been almost 3weeks! Anyhoo, ordered 3x Large Oval Trygon bases for my Thudd battery and they will be sent to my local GW for collection. Looking forward to working on these and preparing the bases. Going to try something new, the large bases will have sections for the individual crew members that will be on normal circle bases and kinda slot in...

I have seen that done before with the bases, I am glad you chose to get large bases for the thudd guns as they will blend in much better with your fantastic army!

Well, the 3 oval bases have arrived and got some model putty. Will start work on these on my days off... Already gave one of them a bath! Although there are so many new DKOK threads popped up on Dakka... Don't really think it makes a difference when I work on them!

Thanks man Got some Milliput to build up the bases so I can slot normal round bases in later. Working next 3 nights so updates should start from Thursday First will be assembly... Oh, and happy new year sir!
Am off for about 2weeks in Feb and plan to work on the Death Korps solid with daily updates... in that 2 weeks I want to get every figure currently unpainted.... painted! Then I can get more!

Work has begun on the first Thudd gun and crew. Started on the base. Need to wait till this dries before I can continue. Sorry for blurry pic... I've had a "few" ales.... actually, thats pretty much how my vision is at the moment!

Nice stuff! Add some barbed wire somewheres and that is a mini diorama on its own!

Update on base... blurry again. But this time no Ale involved. Need to try and sort out my normal camera, had to use my phone. Its been base coated but still needs my mud recipe added. Will do this when the crew are painted. Added some Tamiya Sand Bags 1/35 to the top of trench. Again waiting for some Milliput to dry. Oh, and started preparing 2nd Thudd, its taking a bath at the moment. This one took alot more cleaning up than first. And the amount of resin that was leftover was more than they used on the models! There were literally big resin blocks stuck to the gun and crew. Maybe FW prices would be cheaper if they didn't waste resin so much!
