The cultists have a distinct Splinter Cell vibe. They look more high-tech than I expected, which is VERY cool.

Ooooh wow. I was expected nice stuff for Chaos, but I was not prepared for this level of awesomeness. Really hoping the dread/hell brute thing is is as cool as this stuff!

Also, if these are snap fit, starter models, what awesomeness is in store for the actual Chaos kits coming with the codex?! Can't wait!

Dark angel character looks a bit meh IMO, bit too high elves for my liking.
The Libby looks good though.

Edit: Actually, I suppose it would be best to wait until we see full pics, price and contents before arranging any sort of trade agreements. Nice of them to include a model that you could convert into Cypher in five seconds.

I just sold almost all my 40k minis and now I want them all back again. That dark little seed has dug itself so deep in 20 years.

Those are great looking minis. I always buy at least one starter set. Looks like I might buy two this time: one in English and one in German.

I especially like the cultists and the CSM. They look less cartoony now.

I can tell the detail level is astounding, but not much else. Hellbrute is on a 40mm?

Background to those figures looks very similar to that of white dwarf, probably a fair assumption that the images came from there.

The cultist doesn't really feel chaosy to me. Nice for Necromunda tho.

I might have some chaos vehicle accessory sprues lying around if you feel you need to glue spikes all over them to unleash their true chaoticnessss.

For what it's worth though, I agree with lord_blackfang. They look like they would fit better in a Dark Eldar army than a Chaos army--however that is, of course, subject to change in direction for Chaos.

I'm cautiously going to wait for photos of the Deathwing models before I decide on this set. If the Deathwing models are awesome?

I think the color palette is what gives the model a Dark Eldar vibe. Might also be that they used the same sculptor.

I do hope that some of the cultists have faces that look less Nurgle so that there is some variety. Plastic models will be easy to convert though.

I did consider that a bit, JB...but what struck me as making it look Dark Eldar instead of a lowly footsoldier of Chaos is just how clean he looks.
