Yes, they do.
@Ratius, listen to him is just stand there, and dont wait/rest or anything like that.
You just have to stand there, and he will begin to talk.
Its not a dialogue.

My own crazy RP flair:
When doing an assassination for the Dark Brotherhood, I like to figure out who it was that commissioned the assassination (if possible). For example, Beitild (the miner in Dawnstar) has clearly had her assassination commissioned by her ex-husband.
Then, I go and get a Black Soul Gem. I soul trap the assassination target and kill them. Then, I take their soul to the commissioner and reverse pickpocket it onto them.
If I can't deduce out who commissioned the assassination (or if I'm killing a named character for another reason), I put the Soul Gem in my special "trophy" chest to leave them there for the rest of eternity.
It's been really cool lately, as I'm high enough level that many people flee/yield the first time I respond in a fight. That's usually my casting of Soul Trap. I like to think my reputation has proceeded me.

Its amazing how strongly bandits are convinced they are 'gonna find whoever did this'. Often they are so convinced they manage to say the words with a cut throat. Was using Arngeir's word of power/dragon priest locater last night to get all shouts. Found 'throw voice' as a level 39 assassin Its times like these i wish i just gave in and wiki'd everything like EVERYONE else here.

Is this with your Khajiit who was a werewolf by any chance?
Anyone listen to some of the Dark Brotherhood talking about their kills when you first enter? Seriously messed up story where the little girl kills a pedophile, not because of the fact that she killed a pedophile but because of the fact that they included it in game. Its like that one Thieve Guild member who has a story about her family being killed, her being abducted and raped by bandits, and then her slitting their throats before running away.
Nah my Khajjit werewolf is my unarmed character, sadly you can't be a werewolf-vampire.
I loved the little snippits of stories you hear about dark brotherhood jobs, I wish the quests themselves were that good
Also babette is clearly the girl from hard candy.

I got all three. One of them you get during the Balduran (sp) Amulet quest, at the end I think.
That was my third, though, and I have no idea where I found the second.
All three moves you a fair bit further than I was expecting. Quite fun.

If you need words of power/Dragon priest masks ask Arngeir if he has 'Located any words of power'
He will tell you that he 'has felt the whisper of a word' and mark it on your map. It doesnt take long to find them all this way. As the dragon priests are without exception located near word walls it also means you can get hold of Super tuskface mask....... To put on your mannequin....
Be warned though, it can get VERY annoying trying to find Arngier inside High Hrothgar. The names Borri, Wulfgar and Einarth are burned into my synapses... If in doubt check the beds. 'Wake up old man! I dont care if it's 4.30am.'

I am in love with my Daedric Warhammer, it is my favourite weapon by far. It's obviously one of the slower weapons, but that's what makes it feel so "right". It doesn't feel odd or overpowered when I one-shot somebody, it would almost be weirder if they survived a mighty swing from the hammer. There is nothing more satisfying than having an enemy run at you, only to be brought low as you clobber them with a well timed standing power attack.
The one problem with such a powerful, slow swinging weapon is that enchantments on it are nearly useless. The one enchantment of any use at all is absorb stamina, as you can slowly regain your stamina with normal attacks if for some reason you run out. Absorb health and paralyze are both unnecessary. The rate at which you swing means the damage and leech of the health absorb is inconsequential and when you kill in one or two hits, paralyze hardly ever comes into play. Both of these enchantments I can see being extremely potent on a fast swinging, one handed weapon like a sword or dagger, but on a slow warhammer you just don't get much use out of them.

That's not a bad idea, if only for the cool effect. They suffer the same problem as the other enchantments though: slow swings means they don't do nearly as much damage as they would on a sword (although I guess you don't run out of charges as quickly!). It's a pity there isn't an enchantment that boosts base damage (edit: on a weapon). Even my gloves and boots give me +20% or whatever to 2-hand damage.

- A place to sell stolen (or unstolen) goods of any kind, with a good gold reserve.
- Trainers in most thief skills.
- Easy to complete, infinite, minor thief missions such as burglary. (Numbers jobs are my favorite, easy to complete!)
- A bed and alchemy table
- Some decent thief armor when you join.
- All the lockpicks you can buy.
That's all without actually doing the main Thief Guild story line.
edit: almost forgot the best part.
The ability to bribe (some) guards when you are caught with a bounty so that you a) Only pay half the bounty and b) Don't even have to go to jail!

Especially with the gauldir Amulet! lol. Jester hat + Nightingale armour and Gauldir amulet looks incredibly dumb. Not to mention the clipping issues with the ancient shrouded hands and feet. I mainly wear it for the stamina and anti-freeze buff. Oh and spare me any ' lol the gauldir amulet suxorz' i like using named items. I like being reminded of the quests/dungeons i found them in, and 'forbidden legends' was a cool quest. Does anyone know if you can get 'honed draugr' not-war axes? I love the 'ancient nord' weapon skin and honed draugr compares fairly favourably with daedric. After a sword or Bow. Currently trying to figure out 'Kagrenzur,' Surely there's more to it than, an admittedly cool, long fall? I am hoping keening is the key. Kagrenzur=Kagrenac, Kagrenac's tools. Please do not spoil lol. @thenoobbomb, reading it in a FAQ doesnt count

I don't get many ancient nord things at all, seeing as though my being level 53 means the vast majority of Draugr I face are Deathlords and around 75% of the weapons they drop are ebony, 5% glass, and about 20% ancient nord.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
