No matter how well suited the race stats were to thief/assassin, I could not bring myself to play a furry.

I should feel bad about the 7 Markarth guards i Gubbed in cold blood just to get hold of ten Dwemer cogs................

I could have snuck past them but hey..... Calcermo should really just close down the Dwemer museum, in my eyes its been an unmitigated disaster. Not only are the public not allowed in, 30 odd people have met unfortnate ends inside.

So the Dragon in the beginning of the game actually speaks while smashing the hell out of Helgen. Something about Sovngard.

Also I had a fun glitch happen earlier, while on my mage, my magic replenished SUPER FAST while I was still casting spells, so I could/would literally shoot fire balls like a machine gun. It was awesome

Did you just do the quest "Out of Balance"? (The one where you fix the locations around the College).

I think that's working as intended. Each one you fix either gives you a Soul Gem, does damage to you, or gives you that incredibly awesome buff. I've heard that it's a bug, but everyone seems to get it, so I think it's intended.

yes, but you do have to plant the ring to do the main quest line.

Nope this was before I did that, and it lasted the entire time I played until I shut it off. Sucked too, because I had gotten used to how badass I was with unlimited mana

That Dragon is actually Alduin.

Does upgrading your companions gear make much of an impact on their combat abilities?

As much difference as upgrading your own gear does.

Got jumped by two dragons outside Windhelm today. I was chasing down an outlaw for the Companions when suddenly I see a dragon in the distance... and then another swoops in!

Killed 'em both. I'm 7-0 in me v Dragons. I've stopped being afraid of them.

Are you getting ancient and elder dragons spawning yet?

Blood and normal pose no issue yet the latter two feth me up.

I got attacked by an ancient dragon whilst finishing one of the dark brotherhoods side quests in Makarth, the guards killed it though, so all good.

The Dovahkin is so badass, he doesn't need to lift a finger to kill a dragon.

Ive yet to see ancient/elder yet with my main. Ive admittedly been hopping around from character to character checking out different aspects of the game

I've found something fun to do - soul trap a named character, enchant a weapon with their soul and name it after the character. You'll never have to miss your spouse, she'll be with you eveywhere you go.

I used to do that in Morrowind and its expansions with Vivec and whats her face. I had a pretty badass hammer I used the alchemy cheat on and called it the Vivicron. And a staff with the whats her face and an equally clever name as well. I rather enjoyed doing that. I might want to check that out as well.


Also, I hate enchanting while on the subject. It takes FOREVER and I just dont really care about the effects it can give me. I dunno......maybe Im crazy, I feel like I want to mine half the day, and spend the other half making cool gak for my shelves that vomit said items out on the floor

My characters are simple.
Berserker warrior......he has sword, he bashes things.
Conjurer....he burns things to death, and brings them back to kill things to bring back to kill things to bring back to kill things to bring back
Sneaky assassin....ok this one cuts throats AND is a thief so Ive got one multi use character

I really should have added light armour smith and alchemist...

Right now I'm level 20 and have done most of the Thieves Guild quest line and none of the main quest. Thinking about doing the Companion or Imperial quests next as a klepto Wood Elf.
Finally got the Assassin's Blade Perk; tested it out on a Stormcloak, it was fine but then she burst into flames (Stupid enchantment) and had another two jump on me

They notice fire but not the huge quickening animation from soul trap, silly AI.

I have to thank you for this statement. I just started the game last week and am used to normal 'finish the hub before moving on' rpgs. I've been in Whiterun trying to finish all the quests figuring eventually I'd move on to Riften and do the TG/DB stuff. Having realized that I can just go there, I'm off to Riften as soon as I get a chance.

Conversely my paladin stops people from killing bunnies or goats.

I did that too - well not, Thieves Guild, but close enough.
I actually did none of the Stormcloak/Imperial bits either until way later either.
