Thanks for the welcome guys and Gals, I look forward to getting some shots of WIP up, Just got some bits orders for my chapter this week. I also have been working on redoing all my scouts with something i saw in another forum. Pics are coming, probably tues.

Looking forward to seeing your WiPs. What's your Chapter? Did you invent it?

My Chapter is/are called the Theophony (Hence my user name). It means or translates to Angel of the Lord, or the physical manifestation og God (The judeo-Christian God that is). I have tinkered around with all the GW chapters and armies from time to time, but kept getting frustrated with changing histories or being blocked in on the fluff, so I thought I would completely create my own. The symbol that I am using is the winged sword emblem of the Ravenwing. I have acquired close to 600 shoulder pads for the powered armored troopers and scouts, and over 100 of the terminator pads with the same symbol (although I am having to green stuff the tips of the swords back on to the terminator pads). I want to built a complete (1000 plus) figure chapter and realize that this will take forever and a day, but have set some rules for myself.
1. I am not a great painter and I am going for tabletop (at least what I consider tabletop) standards.
2. ALL models will be only plastic or resin, so far 200+ models with only metal pins into the bases and magnets being the only metals in them. Any models that exist in only metal form will be kitbahed if I can come up with a proper look.
3. No model will have their faces exposed. As I suck at skintones I have it as part of the chapters beliefs that once inducted, (even into the scouts) they do not remove their armor except in their quarters/ isolation, or if damaged extremely in battle. Their is no I in theophony.

If anyone has spare Ravenwing shoulder pads, PM me, maybe we can make a trade......I also humbly accept donations .

My evil side also likes to paint up Iron warriors. some of those pics will be shown as well.

Sorry for the delay in posting anything, just put images in my gallery of some of my marine vehicles, custom tactical, devastator and assault emblems on the doors, please take a look and let me know what you think. I'd like to preface this by saying I'm not a great painter, and my tabletop standards are a little lower than most.
