I'm sure you guys get lazy halfway through a game and make ridiculous moves I want to hear them!

I had the game basically won (CSM vs. Tyranids). My opponent had one model on the board, a carnifex on turn six, and I had like 25 or so plague marines and a bunch of random stuff on the board, so I just went to ground with my plague marines and made my obliterators run off the table It was murder, I saved him a turn of 6 plasma cannon shots

Forgetting to move half your army in a turn, promptly causing the enemy to move to taunt you, then having him realise he just moved himself directly in range of my weapons, but cannot shoot now because he moved. Turned into a curbstomp battle ;D

Frankly, I'm always shocked when an opponent chooses the side he's not near!

I've moved fire warrior squads into close combat, just to break up all the non-stop shooting. (I was playing my Dads Necrons, who were at that point shooting only.) They didn't last long in the open field.

Playing blob Guard, and getting so frustrated with them that I just squeezed them all together and pushed them in one massive mass across the table.

Choosing Tau as an army. Not me, but I've played Tau where they set up along the edge of the table. Movement phase, move nothing, "I'm done." Grumble, grumble knowing I'm ging to be moving 80+ Orks in my movement phase.

As for myself, not so much lazy but time saving; leaving Boyz movement to last when I know I'm going to run them just so I can make the move & run at the same time to avoid moving them twice.

Apologies for talking positively about games I enjoy.

I once played a CSM guy- I had all-infrantry, 5 termies, 20 scouts, assault squad (chainsword and BP), sternguard (standard guns) and korvydae. He had 3 LRs, each full with beserkers, followed by 19 plague marines and a chaos lord (in rhinos).
I just knew I would die, and I wanted to paint but my LGS manager got me to play this guy cos' he wanted a game- I just ran everyone into open ground and DS'ed the jumpers onto a LR. eas mishap and turn 2 death.

I get quite a few of my opponents asking to run the same time they move. I prefer to move and see how the situations changes before deciding whether to run or shoot, but it doesn't bother me.

The joys of seening your friend's horde of orks meticulously placed out in a grand display on the opposite side of the field, then winning deployment and wanting to swap sides.

(I did this once for kicks becuase he ws griping about how long it takes to deploy orks. When I chose deployment he game me the look I deserved, dumped his models on the other side of the field in a mountain of plastic and swore to collect a Speed Freaks list.)

I got rooked into playing in an Apocalypse game with a bunch of 14 - 15 year olds at my FLGS, because the owner knew I that I have a ton of figures and could lay out a pretty impressive army of painted minis. Not wanting to have every figure I own drooled on by the kids I was going to be playing against/beside, I brought the big guys. 2000 points gets eaten up pretty quickly when you show up with a Warhound and a Reaver & I only had to watch 2 figures instead of 60+!

Yeah. One of my buddies plays Green Tide Orks, and just moves one guy and then just clumps all the models together. I know he does this out of laziness, but it's kind of underhanded. I feel like it ends up ignoring some dangerous/difficult terrain tests, and nets him more attacks than he actually has in CC.

Hi

Well mine would be usually bringing the smallest lists I can make with the points value. With chaos this can be very small, 12 models in 500 points. But I also have a mate who plays nids whenever he assaults he just drops his models on top of the others, gaining lots of extra attacks into the process.

We also usually do the "I am already on this side of the table, so I will deploy here".

Last game was called in turn 3; part laziness, Part ran out of time to play, part knowing the inevitable draw. It was a 1500 point Planet strike with me as defending guard, my friend as Attacking orks. I killed all his nob bikers excepting the painboy and he was fleeing off table(his edge was near one of the Bastion objectives) he had selected the "without number" style strategy on those nob bikers; so the biker would return, and his battle wagon was in contact with another bastion. I had the third Bastion and Comms array Objectives secured. His nob was going to either run off table in his turn or be killed by the 2 Quad guns in turn 4 and return in turn 5(with the rest of the Bikers) to take the Bastion he was nearest and I wasn't going to move my 2 units off of the objectives I had, nor could i kill the KFF protected BW+10 burnas inside... So we just declared the game a stalemate and are going to continue our Planet Strike Campaign with the next scenario.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
