Hmmm, where are they hosted at? Secondly, remember that the IMG tags should be around the URL or wherever.

There at pixbox, I've linked from there to other forums in the past so I don't get it. Yes, with IMG tags an' all.

Edit: Got it, me stupid.

Heh, there we go.

Great stuff, can't wait to see more. The Ork's skin tone in particular is nice, how'd you go about achieving it?

Thanks! The skin for the orks is VGC dark green, followed by sick green and then GW goblin green, finish with a thraka green wash. The blue tone on the second from the left are swirls of tattoo.

I really need to reshoot a lot of my stuff, but here is my truck.

love the colors of the wagon, the red is great. Like the detail and weathering you paint as well. Great work!

Nice work on all these guys. Excellent conversions on those Ork bikes. I always wanted to do a split color scheme on marines but was too afraid it would be too much work.

Those marines are soo sick, i want to do a half and half scheme like that how do you get your colors to go straight down the middle of your men?

I could get the swearing part down at least.

Great stuff, especially like the converted big mek. The bases on your marines are amazing, how did you get the green pool of toxic waste effect on them? (the marines are terrific of course but that goes without saying)

The toxic waste effect I discoverd by accident. I prime with brush-on white gesso, now, because the gesso will go on thicker in some places, when you paint it it gets a sort of blotchy effect to it (especially if the paint is watered down). I then painted on some wave lines with a lighter green and gave it a wash of thraka green to give a bit of sheen.

Burna boyz straight out of the box and two of my own.

I really like the orks! Excellent paint job. I am not very familiar with the models, is the kopter/bike a conversion so you can use the core of the model as whatever?

No, I just chopped up a AoBR kopta and made it into a bike using the parts cut away, a warbuggy and even some trukk parts. Ork bikers appeal to me so I made them to go with the 3 regular bikers I had.

And now the "...and more" part.

Oh, I didn't paint all of them during the last few days or anything. I'm just trying to get feedback on my models, but just not image dumping them all in one post.

Hmm, using masking tape on marines is probably the same hassle as freehanding it. On vehicles yes, infantry no, too many details to get the tape around. Plus, I think tape would rip my gesso primer straight of.

Anyway, I took some new pictures of my boyz mobs.

Very envious of your ork boys. Love that they are from all the different clans. My poor orks are still waiting for their checks and dags and glyphs. How many hours do you think you spent on each squad?

I can't really say, those squads have been built up during the last couple of years, I always put one or two more boys on them in between painting other stuff.

Grots!
